Milwaukee Brewers right-handed pitching prospect Logan Henderson looked quite comfortable during his first taste of the major leagues, but was optioned back to Triple-A to monitor his innings.

Since returning to the top level of the Milwaukee system, the right-hander has continued to impress, suggesting he could be in the mix to join Milwaukee during the final weeks of the regular season.

Logan Henderson Prospect Update for Fantasy Baseball

Henderson's has begun to hit a bit of a slump at Triple-A Nashville. In his most recent outing on July 26, Henderson allowed four runs to Charlotte across 5 1/3 innings. In his previous start, Henderson also surrendered four runs; however, in this outing, he lasted just 3 2/3 innings against Indianapolis.

Despite his recent struggles, fantasy managers should not be concerned with Henderson's outlook. Prior to this slump, the No. 90-ranked prospect in the sport logged 38 2/3 innings ot the tune of a 3.49 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, with a 40:9 K:BB.

Given his solid production in the big leagues and relatively stable performance at Triple-A, he remains a top stash candidate in Week 19.

Update - The Brewers are promoting Henderson to the major leagues before their contest on Sunday against the Washington Nationals. In a corresponding move, the Brewers are placing Jacob Misiorowski on the 15-day IL. Henderson should be viewed as a must-add in all formats.

Logan Henderson Outlook for Fantasy Baseball

During his first four starts in Milwaukee, Henderson looked rather impressive, posting a 1.71 ERA and a 0.95 WHIP across 21 innings of work. During this stint, he struck out 29 hitters while posting an elite 7.4% walk rate.

However, despite his strong production, Henderson has a difficult road to reach the majors in the short term. With Brandon Woodruff back in action and budding ace Jacob Misiorowski now holding a spot in the rotation, Henderson may have to wait for an injury.

With Milwaukee in the playoff race, they will likely give Henderson another look, especially to preserve their other starters; however, that may not come until the end of August. As a result, he is only worth stashing in deep 12+ team leagues for the time being.
