Alan Roden Remains Out on Friday
Alan Roden (knee) remains out of the starting nine on Friday evening when they begin a series against the Chicago White Sox. Roden was held out of action on Thursday due to inflammation in his right knee. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status as he may miss additional time over the weekend. Instead, the Blue Jays will give Nathan Lukes the starting nod in left field, which opens center field for Jonatan Clase and right field for Addison Barger. Through his first 39 games in the major leagues, Roden has posted a .202/.282/.281 slash line with four doubles and one round-tripper. The Blue Jays are a viable target in DFS this evening, facing Chicago White Sox right-hander Grant Taylor, who holds a 4.50 ERA.
