Edmonton Oilers right wing Connor Brown (undisclosed) saw his day at the office come to an early end in Sunday's Game 3 against the Dallas Stars. The 31-year-old left the contest in the second period after absorbing a hit from Stars defenseman Alexander Petrovic. Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch didn't have an update on Brown after the game. Brown has recently missed practices and was considered a game-time call for the Western Conference Finals opener on May 21. However, he hasn't sat out any games so far this season. Brown registered 30 points (13 goals, 17 assists) in 82 regular-season outings and has posted eight points (five goals, three assists) in 14 games during the playoffs. Viktor Arvidsson, who has been a healthy scratch for several games, may get an opportunity to re-enter the lineup if Brown has to skip Tuesday's Game 4.--Taavi Pailk
