John Gibson Out On Monday
Anaheim Ducks goaltender John Gibson (lower body) will remain out on Monday against the Edmonton Oilers. The oft-injured netminder is currently nursing a lower-body ailment, which will force him to miss a second consecutive game. Overall, Gibson has made only 28 starts this season, posting an 11-11-2 record. He has allowed 2.77 goals per game with a .912 save percentage. While Gibson has performed well, he often struggles to stay healthy for long, which hampers Anaheim's chances of becoming competitive again. Lukas Dostal, with a record of 22-21-6 for the year, is expected to be the starter for Monday's game, with Ville Husso serving as the backup.
