Tyler Myers Not Expected To Play Against Ducks
Vancouver Canucks defenseman Tyler Myers (undisclosed) is unlikely to play on Saturday against the Anaheim Ducks. "Something happened last game," Canucks head coach Tocchet said on Friday. "Tried to play through it, that's 'Mysie,' but we shut him down the last 12. Probably won't play tomorrow." The games are coming thick and fast as the end of the regular season approaches, and Myers may also be unavailable for Sunday's contest against the Vegas Golden Knights. The towering defenseman has notched 24 points (six goals, 18 assists) in 71 appearances, blocking 125 shots and delivering 87 hits. Victor Mancini will likely be inserted into the lineup for Saturday's action. In nine outings with the Canucks, Mancini has managed two assists with 14 blocks, and 13 hits.
