Montreal Canadiens defenseman Lane Hutson set up three goals in Sunday's 4-2 road win against the Florida Panthers. He helped out Patrik Laine and Juraj Slafkovsky in power-play situations and bagged an even-strength assist when Nick Suzuki scored the game-winning tally. This marks Hutson's 14th multi-assist game of the season, tying him with Larry Murphy for the second most in a season by a rookie defenseman in NHL history. Chris Chelios holds the all-time record with 16. Hutson has nine more games to catch him. The 21-year-old is also aiming to break Chelios' franchise record for the most points scored by a rookie defenseman, which stands at 64 points. Hutson has accumulated 59 points (five goals, 54 assists) in 73 appearances.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
