The Houston Texans are signing offensive guard Laken Tomlinson to a one-year, $4.25 million contract, according to team reporter DJ Bien-Aime. Tomlinson was originally a first-round pick by the Detroit Lions in the 2015 NFL Draft out of Duke. The 33-year-old has played in 163 games (155 starts) with the Lions, San Francisco 49ers, New York Jets, and Seattle Seahawks. He has missed just one regular-season game throughout his 10-year NFL career. Houston recently traded left tackle Laremy Tunsil to the Washington Commanders and guard Kenyon Green to the Philadelphia Eagles, so Tomlinson arrives as a likely Day-1 starter for the Texans.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller
