Jake Oettinger Sharp On Friday
Dallas Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger stopped 29 of the 31 shots he faced en route to defeating the Los Angeles Kings on Friday evening. The shot totals were even throughout the game and Oettinger was able to lead the way. He allowed one goal in the opening frame to Warren Foegele and his second goal to Trevor Moore in the second frame. He would then stop all 10 shots he faced in the final frame. This was a nice bounce-back for the 26-year-old as he allowed five goals in his last start. Prior to this poor showing, Oettinger carried a 3-1-1 record with a .906 save percentage and a 2.97 GAA. Overall, Oettinger has posted a 28-13-2 record with a 2.42 GAA and a .910 save percentage. He has tallied one shutout. He will look to extend his winning streak on Sunday against the St. Louis Blues.
