FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz reports that the New York Jets will interview veteran defensive coach Steve Wilks on Wednesday night for their vacant defensive-coordinator position, according to sources. New head coach Aaron Glenn has already stated that he won't be calling defensive plays in his first year at the helm in 2025, which makes his defensive-coordinator hire an even more important one. Wilks is widely respected around the league for his defensive mind and leadership abilities. He took the 2024 season off in the NFL after he was fired following the San Francisco 49ers' loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in last year's Super Bowl. The 55-year-old veteran has served as a defensive coordinator for the 49ers, Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
