The Minnesota Vikings will not trade head coach Kevin O'Connell, a team source told Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio on Sunday evening. This firm stance comes in response to a report from FOX Sports' Jay Glazer that suggested numerous teams would inquire about the availability of O'Connell, whose contract with the Vikings is set to expire at the end of the 2025 season. Although there's no extension in place between the two sides, Minnesota has now made it clear that they have no interest in moving O'Connell, a Coach of the Year candidate. This hardly comes as a surprise given how well the Vikings played during the regular season, going 14-3 in one of the NFL's most difficult divisions. Minnesota could theoretically fetch a haul in a trade for O'Connell, but it doesn't sound like they're even willing to pick up the phone.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerRead More News
