MLB DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (9/12/24) - Today's Top Lineups

Bryce Miller - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

The top MLB DFS daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings on September 12, 2024. Mike Marteny's MLB DFS sleepers picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

There are only eight games today, but we still get five of them for the main slate on both sites. There's no Coors and we have Red Sox-Yankees. What more could you want?

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on Thursday, September 12, 2024, with the slate starting at 6:45 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential. Good luck, RotoBallers!

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Bryce Miller vs. TEX ($9.2K DraftKings; $10.3K FanDuel)

Miller has been outstanding lately, especially at home. He has a 2.03 ERA in 14 home starts this season. The Rangers have cut down on the strikeouts against RHP, but their power metrics have also suffered. I'll trust Miller's new two-seamer to get the K rate back up for the Rangers, at least for one game.

Nestor Cortes vs. BOS ($8K DraftKings; $9.2K FanDuel)

Aside from a poor start against the Cardinals, the last five starts have been solid for Nestor. The Red Sox are striking out at an alarming 29.2% rate against LHP in the last month. That's third worst in the major leagues in that span. Boston's metrics against lefties are also suffering. There's decent SP2 potential here on DraftKings.

Also consider: DJ Herz vs. MIA, Ryan Pepiot at CLE

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Jazz Chisholm Jr. – 3B, NYY vs. Cooper Criswell ($5.4K DK; $3.5K FD)

The Jazz legend in NYC continues to grow. He hasn't hit for much power lately, but he still has seven steals in nine September games. He's still piling on the points.

Luke Raley – 1B/OF, SEA vs. Kumar Rocker ($3.8K DK; $3K FD)

Kumar Rocker is expected to make his major league debut in Seattle tonight. I expect him to have a solid game, but the same can be true for Raley. Raley is hitting .350 with two homers, six RBI, and four runs scored in the last five games alone. We're going to need some value with the pitchers going tonight. Raley is a good place to get it.

Otto Lopez – 2B/SS, MIA vs. DJ Herz ($3.4K DK; $2.4K FD)

I love the price for Lopez on FanDuel. He's way too cheap there. Lopez is hitting .325 with a homer, six RBI, a steal, and five runs scored in the last 10 games. He has a nice six-game hitting streak in which he has 11 hits. He's hot right now and essentially free on FD.

Also consider: Josh Naylor, Andres Gimenez, Gleyber Torres

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Tyler O'Neill – OF, BOS vs. Nestor Cortes ($5.5K DK; $3.5K FD)

O'Neill has three homers and nine RBI in the last five games alone. He also scored seven hits and seven runs in those five games. That's saying nothing about how well he hits lefties. O'Neill is your pay-up spot amongst hitters tonight.

Victor Robles – OF, SEA vs. Kumar Rocker ($3.6K DK; $2.8K FD)

Robles is hitting .420 over his last 18 games with 15 runs scored, seven extra-base hits, 11 RBI, and seven steals. He's putting up a lot of points at the top of the Mariners order. Robles has 74 DK points over his last five games. He's way too cheap for the output.

Mike Yastrzemski – OF, SF vs. Frankie Montas ($3.1K DK; $2.6K FD)

This could be the hot streak we have patiently waited for from Yastrzemski. Yaz has homered in back-to-back games with five RBI. Maybe he just likes Brewers pitching. Whatever the case, he has one more game against the Beermakers. I'll run him again at this price.

Also consider: Juan Soto, Lane Thomas, Wyatt Langford

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

1. Brewers vs. Hayden Birdsong

2. Yankees vs. Cooper Criswell

3. Giants vs. Frankie Montas
