ANALYSIS: Despite Darnold’s limitations, he could still be a viable option in two-quarterback leagues or Superflex formats. In those formats, where the demand for quarterbacks is much higher, his role as a starter for the Vikings provides a baseline of points each week.
Even with his flaws, Darnold’s ability to throw for multiple touchdowns, as he did in Week 1, gives him some value as a QB2 or flex option. The Vikings' offense may not revolve around him, but Darnold has the potential for occasional spike weeks with weapons like Justin Jefferson.
