Jaylen Waddle Injury Update for Fantasy Football

Coach Mike McDaniel stated on Monday that Waddle (undisclosed) will practice and has not experienced any setbacks. This should indicate that Waddle will be a full participant this week and should be good to go for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

McDaniel appears to suggest that Waddle, who was recently held out of practice due to minor injuries, is still on course to play in Sunday's regular-season opener against the Jaguars. Waddle practiced in a non-contact jersey last week, but it seems his activity level is set to increase.

Fantasy managers should be stress-free for Waddle in Week 1, as he is expected to play with no setbacks.

Jaylen Waddle Fantasy Football Outlook

Jaylen Waddle has the potential to be a low-end WR1 in PPR leagues this year due to his consistent target volume and explosive playmaking ability in the Miami Dolphins offense.

Playing alongside Tyreek Hill, Waddle benefits from less defensive attention, allowing him to capitalize on his speed and agility in both short and intermediate routes. Many forget, but Waddle finished as a top-10 wide receiver in the first year Hill arrived.

His chemistry with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, combined with Miami's quick-paced passing attack, ensures that Waddle will see a steady stream of targets, boosting his value in PPR formats.

While Hill might be the primary deep threat, Waddle's role as a reliable, high-volume receiver in the Dolphins' offense positions him as a strong candidate to finish as a low-end WR1, especially in leagues that reward receptions.
