Edward Cabrera Could Return On Sunday
Edward Cabrera (shoulder) is with the team for the Fourth of July game on Thursday against the visiting Boston Red Sox and could be activated from the 60-day injured list when he's eligible to start on Sunday versus the Chicago White Sox in an excellent matchup. Despite the great matchup, the 26-year-old will still be a shaky fantasy play in his return from the IL. The Marlins initially were expecting Cabrera to make one more minor-league rehab start, too, but they have an opening in their rotation this Sunday. He'll almost certainly be on a limited pitch count if he makes the start that day. Cabrera has been out since early May with a right-shoulder impingement and has a 4.50 ERA with 15 K's and four walks in 10 innings in three rehab starts. Injuries and control issues have made Cabrera a dice roll in fantasy early in his career.
