2024 NFL Draft - Which College Football Programs Will Have The Most Players Selected?

J.J. McCarthy - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Rookies, Draft Sleepers

Which college football team will lead the way with selections in the 2024 NFL Draft? Michigan looks primed to lead the way - but there are others that could be right behind them.

After a long wait, draft day is finally here. Thirty-two prospects will find a home tonight as they start their NFL careers, led by 2022 Heisman winner Caleb Williams

The most players selected out of one college program was Georgia in 2022, as fifteen players from the national championship team landed on an NFL roster over draft weekend. While that record will likely stand through this draft, there is one team that could threaten to at least tie it.

Which college football programs will have the most players selected in the 2024 NFL Draft? The six top contenders are laid out below.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Michigan Wolverines

The defending national champs are losing a ton from their stacked roster, but their loss is the NFL’s gain. Michigan is the most likely program to compete with Georgia’s record, especially with Jim Harbaugh lurking on the other side with a team that could use some beef on the offensive and defensive fronts.

Quarterback J.J. McCarthy leads the way as one of the most intriguing draft night storylines, but the Wolverines’ draftees are far from over beyond their leader. The below players all have a chance to get drafted:

If all of these guys were to be selected, Michigan would break Georgia’s record of 15 players drafted in 2022.

Washington Huskies

Behind Michigan, the national runner-ups could put the most players into the league in a single draft class in school history. Washington’s largest classes came in 1983 and 1992, with eleven players each. This year’s class contains two surefire first-rounders, with quarterback Michael Penix Jr. considered right on the fringe. Here are the possible draftees out of Washington:

Texas Longhorns

For the first time in a long time, Texas was back. Unfortunately, their run may be short-lived with all the talent exiting along with the transition to the SEC. The Longhorns’ incoming draft class has a lot of star potential, headlined by defensive tackle Byron Murphy II and combine record-breaker Xavier Worthy. Here are Texas’ draft hopefuls:

Florida State Seminoles

Following Florida State’s infamous CFP snub, many of the players who contributed to the undefeated regular season are headed off to the NFL. Jared Verse and Keon Coleman headline the class, but there is a lot more depth in the hunt:

Georgia Bulldogs

Unsurprisingly, Georgia finds itself on this list much like every year. The Bulldogs have been consistently churning out NFL talent at record numbers since usurping Alabama as the cream of the crop in the SEC, and this year is no different despite missing out on the CFP.

Despite only having two to three Day 1 picks, this Bulldogs class runs deep:

Alabama Crimson Tide

Nick Saban’s final Alabama roster is set to put four first-rounders into the league, along with some later-round selections with starter potential. Dallas Turner and J.C. Latham look like top 10 selections, Terrion Arnold is arguably the first cornerback off the board, and Kool-Aid McKinstry should also hear his name on Day 1. Here is the full crew:
