DISCLOSURE: Make sure to monitor the NHL news feeds for the latest player status and injury news.

DraftKings and FanDuel Goalies - NHL DFS Picks

Semyon Varlamov - DK $7.1K || FD $7.8K

Opponent - New York Rangers

There are plenty of options in net tonight, but the Battle of New York sticks out. In his last five starts, Semyon Varlamov has a 4-1 record with a 2.20 Goals Against Average and a 0.938 Save Percentage. It wasn't too long ago that Montreal starter Sam Montembeault – a viable candidate tonight – was mentioned in this article against the New York Rangers and he did not disappoint. Over the last 10 respective games for all clubs, excluding splits, Varlamov is the seventh-best goalie out of 57 possible goalies in Goals Saves Above Expected Per 60. Although the Rangers are a dangerous and capable team, they will continue to struggle for consistent production as long as they are a one-line producing team.

Others To Consider (Cash/GPP):

  • Montembeault (DK $7.3K || FD $7.2K)
  • Saros (DK $7.3K || FD $8.1K)

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NHL DFS Picks

Nazem Kadri - DK $6.8K || FD $7.1K

Opponent - San Jose Sharks

Kadri is the face of the Flames offense. Over his most recent five outings, he has two goals, four assists, and 13 shots. Luckily, tonight he travels to San Jose, and the Sharks have arguably the worst defense in the league. In San Jose’s last 10 home games, they have been outscored 12 to 27. In their last 10 games, in Per 60 stats, excluding splits, they are the fifth-worst in Scoring Chances Against, the third-worst in High Danger Chances Against, and the second-worst in Goals Against. Fully expect Kadri to produce four shots and two points tonight.

Phillip Danault - DK $4.5K || FD $5.8K

Opponent - Anaheim Ducks

Danault is without a doubt one of the top value plays on the slate. The center has finally returned from a multiple-game absence to retake his role as the second-line center. In his five games before the injury, he had two goals, one assist, six shots, five shots, and five blocked shots. Sure, his peripherals are decent for his salary. However, considering who his teammates are, he should have more goals, assists, shots, and blocked shots. Despite the lack of production, he has a premium matchup tonight in Anaheim. Although statistically the Ducks look like a good team, nine out of 10 times they are underperforming in all aspects of the game. Considering Anaheim just conceded six goals to St. Louis’s top six, tonight's game should bode well for the traveling Kings.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Tavares (DK $6.6K || FD $7.6K)
  • Paul (DK $3.5K || FD $5.2K)

DraftKings and FanDuel Wings - NHL DFS Picks

Viktor Arvidsson - DK $5.8K || FD $6K

Opponent - Anaheim Ducks

Staying in Anaheim, we have winger Viktor Arvidsson. Arvidsson has been pumping out shots lately, with 18 in his last five games. He also has one goal, three assists, and eight blocked shots in that timeframe. As mentioned above, St. Louis's top six made the best of it against Anaheim only a few days ago. Arvidsson and company are expected to do much more than that. Expect four shots and two points from the winger.

David Perron - DK $3.2K || FD $5K

Opponent - Washington Capitals

Perron may be the top-value play of the slate. The veteran winger has bounced all over the lineup this season in Detroit. However, despite a healthy roster, he has found his way back to the top line. His promotion could be linked to his recent stellar form. Throughout his last five outings, he has one goal, four assists, 11 shots, and two blocked shots. On the other end of the ice we have the struggling Capitals who are desperate for any points as they lose control over a playoff spot, while at the same time, the Red Wings try to hold theirs. In Per 60 stats, excluding splits in their last 10 games, Washington is in the bottom 10 in both Shots Against and High Danger Chances Against. They are also the third-worst in Goals Against. Furthermore, in Washington’s last 10 away games, they are being outscored 16 to 26. At home in a big matchup with many implications, expect Perron to show up with three shots and one point.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Tarasenko (DK $4.1K || FD $5.6K)
  • Kuzmenko (DK $3.5K || FD $4.9K)

DraftKings and FanDuel Defensemen - NHL DFS Picks

Daniil Miromanov - DK $4.1K || FD $4.5K

Opponent - San Jose Sharks

Despite Daniil Miromanov being moved down to the second pairing and the second power-play unit, he is still producing. The two-way defenseman has one goal, one assist, 12 shots, and seven blocked shots in his last five outings, and now he has the ‘perfect’ matchup. As mentioned above, San Jose is still a bottom-two defense, and their goaltending is not any better. With Miromanov ripping four shots and six shots respectively in his last two contests, expect him to have a similar performance here.

Jamie Drysdale - DK $3.5K || FD $4.3K

Opponent - Montreal Canadiens

Jamie Drysdale is another candidate for the top value play of the night and he could be the top value play at defense. Since returning from an upper-body injury he sustained at the end of February, he has one assist, 12 shots, and four blocked shots in three games. Considering the lack of offense the Flyers have generated, this is a very positive sign. Montreal is no slouch and they are always up for a good battle, which could make things difficult for Drysdale to produce any points. However, his peripheral production is making up for any lack of points right now. The young defenseman is expected to have three shots and two blocked shots.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Doughty (DK $4.8K || FD $5.7K)
  • Pulock (DK $4.1K || FD $4.7K)
