CBB DFS: NCAA Tournament DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (3/29/24)

Tyler Kolek - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's NCAA Tournament DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 3/29/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

We had three good games out of the four last night. That's about as good as we can ask for. The rematch of the 2023 championship game was the only bust, which only reiterates how tough it's going to be to keep Connecticut from repeating.

We start in Dallas tonight with Marquette taking on North Carolina State. Next up is Purdue and Gonzaga from Detroit. Houston and Duke is the nightcap in Dallas. Tennessee and Creighton will finish off the slate from Detroit.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 3/29/24, starting at 7:09 p.m. EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Tyler Kolek, Marquette ($8.4K)

Marquette did the right thing by holding Kolek out of the conference tournament. The team still made the final without him and still secured a two seed. It allowed Kolek to enter the real tournament with a clean bill of health. He has responded with 39 points, 22 assists, 11 rebounds, and three steals in two games. The Pack are a great story and they may win this game, but Kolek is still going to put up a really solid stat line.

Jamal Shead, Houston ($7.5K)

I'll trust the veteran Shead against the young Duke backcourt here. On paper, this is not a great matchup, but you can't measure Shead's contributions on paper. He has 32 points, 19 assists, eight rebounds, and a steal in the first two games of the tournament despite only playing 25 minutes in the first round. He played 44.5 minutes against the Aggies, fouling out in the last minute of the game. He'll play the whole way against Duke as well.

Steven Ashworth, Creighton ($6.4K)

Ashworth only hit six shots against Oregon, but it seemed like every one of them was at a critical point of the game. Tennessee's guards are going to be a problem for Creighton, but I feel like it will play out the same way it did against Oregon. The Vols will concentrate on Trey Alexander and Baylor Scheierman, leaving Ashworth with more open looks. All he has to do is knock them down.

Mylik Wilson, Houston ($5.1K)

Wilson didn't hit the 25-minute mark in a game this year until March 2, but he has played at least 20 minutes in all but one game since. He is an outstanding rebounder for his size and an efficient scorer from the floor. Wilson is one of those guys that even DFS players want coming off the bench. He attacks when he comes in and the other team is tired. He has at least 17 DraftKings points in all but the Central Florida game in that span. He'll be around that mark again tonight.

Also consider: Baylor Scheierman, Creighton ($9K); Dalton Knecht, Tennessee ($8.2K); Kam Jones, Marquette ($7.8K); DJ Horne, North Carolina State ($7K); LJ Cryer, Houston ($6.2K);  Santiago Vescovi, Tennessee ($4.7K); Chase Ross, Marquette ($4.3K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Zach Edey, Purdue ($10.8K)

Purdue already played Gonzaga back in November. It was the fourth game of the season and Edey was already in mid-season form. He put up 49.5 DraftKings points in the 10-point win. A lot has changed since then, including Edey's production. He has at least 50 DraftKings points in five straight games and seven of the last eight.

Mohamed Diarra, North Carolina State ($7.3K)

Can you believe that the Pack had this dude stashed on the bench for three months? He only started one game before February 10 and was averaging around 15 minutes per game. Since Diarra joined the starting five, the Pack are 9-6 with wins over Clemson, Duke, Virginia, North Carolina, and Texas Tech. He has changed the team. Diarra is averaging 10.6 points, 12.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.3 blocks, and 1.3 assists during the unlikely postseason run. I'm looking forward to watching the matchup between him and Oso Ighodaro, but I'm not afraid of it.

J'Wan Roberts, Houston ($5.7K)

Roberts finally got a full complement of minutes for the first time since his injury in the Big 12 Tournament. He looked good against the Aggies with 13 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block in 33 minutes. Houston needs his size up front to contain Kyle Filipowski. Roberts is healthy and one of the better all-around players that Houston has. He feels cheap at this price.

Trey Kaufman-Renn, Purdue ($4.4K)

Kaufman-Renn has been superb in the NCAA Tournament so far. He has 29 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, two blocks, and a steal in 48 minutes over the first two games. Some of that is due to the blowout nature of both games, but it can't be ignored that he is outplaying Mason Gillis right now. I'm good with taking a shot on Kaufman-Renn in GPPs just in case last week earned him more playing time...as it should.

Also consider: Ryan Kalkbrenner, Creighton ($8.7K); Ben Gregg, Gonzaga ($6.6K); David Joplin, Marquette ($6.5K); Tobe Awaka, Tennessee ($4,100)
