DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks For 12/20/23 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 12/20/23. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

We have a pretty busy slate for the week before Christmas. We have seven games tonight and there are some huge ones on tap. We open up with Baylor and Duke. BAYLOR AND DUKE! It's from Madison Square Garden instead of Cameron, but it'll do. Next up is UConn visiting Seton Hall. Xavier in Queens to take on St. John's ends the early games.

Northwestern and Arizona State tip off in Phoenix for the Hall of Fame Series. We have Oklahoma and North Carolina in Charlotte for the second game of the Jumpman Invitational. Villanova heads to the Birdcage in Omaha to take on Creighton. We end this with the second game in Phoenix between Alabama and Arizona. This slate is freaking loaded and I love it!

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/20/23, starting at 7 PM Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Caleb Love, Arizona ($8,700)

Love was more of a role player at North Carolina, but he has turned into the star for Arizona. After seeing what guards have done to Alabama in the last two weeks, Love is at the top of a loaded guard class tonight. Baylor Scheierman has better peripheral stats right now, but will that continue against Villanova? He's the guy that got to the Tide on Saturday. Love is going to be able to do what Scheierman did over the weekend tonight. Love should end up with his third straight 40+ DraftKings point game.

Cam Spencer, Connecticut ($7,400)

Opposing teams have decided lately that they are not going to let Tristen Newton beat them. They are forcing UConn's other players to do so. It's still working. Spencer had huge games against North Carolina and Gonzaga in Connecticut wins. Spencer is still dishing out the assists and picking up the rebounds to go with the increase in scoring. Kansas was content to let Newton take over and they stopped everyone else. Seton Hall will likely have to go with how teams have currently operated. They're not good enough defenders to take the rest of the players out of the game. They might be able to do it to Newton though, which would mean another big game for Spencer.

Javian McCollum, Oklahoma ($6,400)

The Sienna transfer has done a great job of running the Oklahoma offense so far. He has even added some scoring when he plays a full allotment of minutes. This should be a close game throughout. This is where we find out if Oklahoma is for real. They have looked really good against Iowa, USC, Providence, and Arkansas, but the Tar Heels in Charlotte are an entirely different animal. If Oklahoma passes this test, it will start with McCollum.

Adam Miller, Arizona State ($4,800)

Miller sat out the first nine games while waiting on an eligibility ruling, but he hit the ground running for the Sun Devils. He led the team with 20 points in his 30 minutes of court time. He didn't look rusty at all. He should be a huge factor once again against Northwestern. Miller is going to be well above 50% owned, but I don't think we can leave this kind of ceiling sitting there at this price. We can get different elsewhere.

Also consider: Baylor Scheierman, Creighton ($9,300); RJ Davis, North Carolina ($9,000); Quincy Olivari, Xavier ($7,900); Jeremy Roach, Duke ($7,100); Daniss Jenkins, St. John's  ($6,700); Dylan Addae-Wusu, Seton Hall ($6,200); Jared McCain, Duke ($5,700); Jordan Longino, Villanova ($5,100); Rivaldo Soares, Oklahoma ($4,500); Hassan Diarra, Connecticut ($3,900)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Joel Soriano, St. John's ($9,200)

The big man has been a force on both ends of the court for the Red Storm lately. Soriano has three straight double-doubles and has scored at least 18 points in four straight. He has upped his assist numbers (10 in the last three games) and he's still an elite rim protector. Xavier doesn't have the size in the middle to handle Soriano. They'll throw all kinds of looks at him, but with the way Soriano is rolling, I'm not sure it will matter. This is a smash spot for Soriano tonight.

Donovan Clingan, Connecticut ($7,800)

Clingan still doesn't play big minutes, but he showed his ceiling in the win over Gonzaga in Seattle last weekend. He was efficient from the floor as usual, but he piled up some peripherals in his 26 minutes. Seton Hall doesn't have the size to contain him. It's kind of the same with Clingan as it is with Cam Spencer. All of the attention given to stopping Newton is forcing the rest of the team to step up and they have. So long as teams keep playing UConn like this, I'll play the secondary pieces and fade Newton.

Eric Dixon, Villanova ($6,500)

The veteran has been a steadying force for a Villanova team that sometimes has trouble scoring. It was Dixon who went cold from the floor against UCLA, but he still posted his first double-digit rebounding game of the season to retain value. Dixon's ceiling isn't high, but the floor is stable. Forward is littered with overpriced players and guys with tough matchups. Stability might be what we need in one of those slots.

Nick Martinelli, Northwestern ($4,800)

Martinelli isn't consistent, which makes him hard to trust. However, we just saw TCU eat up Arizona State over the weekend. Martinelli scored 16 of Northwestern's 56 points against DePaul last week. He has had two great games out of the last three. The other was a two-point yuck-fest in the loss to Chicago State. Martinelli has good upside if his shot is falling and is worth the risk in large-field GPPs.

Also consider: Kyle Filipowski, Duke ($10,300); Harrison Ingram, North Carolina ($8,100); Oumar Ballo, Arizona ($7,000); Jaden Bediako, Seton Hall ($6,700); Yves Missi, Baylor ($5,700); Sam Godwin, Oklahoma ($5,300); Matthew Nicholson, Northwestern ($4,900)
