Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins has put together an excellent first season with rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud as the wideout has totaled 60 receptions for 1,004 yards and six touchdowns this season.
Unfortunately, the 24-year-old got banged up in Week 14 of this season, causing him to miss the remainder of the game and miss Week 15 as well. Fantasy managers wonder when the star wideout is expected to return.

Nico Collins Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Collins (calf) originally suffered a calf injury in the Week 14 loss to the New York Jets. He exited the game and did not return with a calf injury, which followed by him not being able to play in Week 15.
The injury was originally viewed as a week-to-week recovery, so he should be expected to attempt to return to the field for the Week 16 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
It is unlikely that the Texans will take any chances to rush the wideout, so this is a situation worth monitoring.
Nico Collins Fantasy Football Outlook
There has been no surprise that Collins has excelled as a fantasy option this season and can continue to see value as the year comes to an end but will need to fully recover in order for that to happen. Both Collins and Stroud were held out during the Week 15 game but both are expected to attempt a return this week, which boosts Collins' fantasy value back to an elite option. With wideout Tank Dell also out for the remainder of the season, expect Collins to see a large workload from Stroud in their return.
When he returns, Collins can be viewed as a WR2 for fantasy managers.
