2023 NFL QB Power Rankings: All 32 Starting Quarterbacks for Week 11

Brant Henson ranks all 32 NFL starting quarterbacks. Check out his QB power rankings to see who are the top quarterbacks in the NFL heading into Week 11 (2023).

Last week was a mix of impressive performances from the quarterback position, even with top five mainstays Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, and Tua Tagovailoa on bye. Most importantly? We have a new quarterback on top of the power rankings, making his debut at the one spot.

Rookie C.J. Stroud has blown up the box score the past two weeks, but proved he belongs among the position's elite with a huge road win over Cincinnati. Stroud is not only running away with the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, but is also creeping up in the MVP race.

Behind Stroud, how does the rest of the league's landscape shake out as we head into Week 11? Take a look below to see how we have the NFL's starting quarterbacks ranked 1-32.

1. C.J. Stroud - Houston Texans

We have a new face on top of the power rankings, and it is well-deserved. Rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud has been lights out and not only has Houston at 5-4 through Week 10 but also is just the fourth quarterback since 1970 to lead the league in both passing yards per game and TD-INT ratio. The other three? Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Patrick Mahomes. Stroud is already elite as a rookie.

2. Jalen Hurts - Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts and the Eagles remain in the lead of the NFL as they return from bye week for a highly anticipated Monday night matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs. Arrowhead will be rocking for the Super Bowl rematch.

3. Patrick Mahomes - Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs come off of bye week rejuvenated for a massive Super Bowl rematch against Jalen Hurts and the Eagles. The game looks to be the best Monday night matchup of the season to date.

4. Dak Prescott - Dallas Cowboys

No quarterback aside from C.J. Stroud has put on more of a show over the past few weeks than Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. Prescott has been lights out, throwing for 11 touchdowns over his last three games. The Dallas quarterback should be able to continue his hot streak over the next two weeks with favorable matchups against Carolina and Washington.

5. Tua Tagovailoa - Miami Dolphins

Tagovailoa and the Dolphins return from a bye in Week 11 to take on a Raiders team that has won two straight after firing Josh McDaniels. Tagovailoa is second in the league in passing yards per game, just behind C.J. Stroud, and remains firmly in the MVP race.

6. Joe Burrow - Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow showed a multitude of flashes in Sunday’s loss to Houston as he brought the team back, but also threw interceptions on back-to-back drives with under four minutes in the fourth quarter. Burrow finished the game 27-of-40 for 347 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions, ultimately losing and falling to last place in the AFC North at 5-4.

7. Lamar Jackson - Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson struggled late against Cleveland, throwing two interceptions in the 33-31 breakdown loss. One of Jackson’s interceptions came with eight minutes left in the game and was returned by Greg Newsome for a touchdown to bring the score within a point. Jackson passed for 223 yards and a touchdown and ran for 41 yards in the loss, falling to just a half-game ahead of the rest of the division at 7-3.

8. Jared Goff - Detroit Lions

Jared Goff was lights-out in the high-scoring Lions-Chargers affair on Sunday. The former first-overall draft pick completed 23-of-33 passes for 333 yards and two scores, lighting up Los Angeles’ secondary. Goff has quarterbacked the Lions to a 7-2 record.

9. Justin Herbert - Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert looked good in the high-scoring loss to Detroit on Sunday. Herbert completed 27-of-40 passes for 323 yards for four touchdowns and an interception. He also ran for 15 yards en route to putting up 38 points on the scoreboard. The Chargers dropped to 4-5 on the season and will need to beat Green Bay on the road to get back to .500.

10. Brock Purdy - San Francisco 49ers

Brock Purdy was red hot off of the bye, leading San Francisco to a dominant 34-3 win over Jacksonville. Purdy looked sharp after losing three straight games prior to the bye, completing 19-of-26 passes for 296 yards and three touchdowns. San Francisco looked dialed in as a team, erasing the lingering doubts after their skid.

11. Deshaun Watson - Cleveland Browns

Is Deshaun finally back? Watson started the day off by throwing a pick-six on his first drive of the night, but stayed the course and led Cleveland to a massive comeback victory. After trailing by as many as 15 points, Watson led a five-minute game-winning drive in which Dustin Hopkins drilled a 40-yard field goal to complete the comeback. Watson went 20-for-34 for 213 yards with a touchdown and an interception while also scrambling for 37 yards in the win.

12. Kyler Murray - Arizona Cardinals

Welcome back. Kyler Murray returned to action a year after tearing his ACL to lead Arizona to their second win of the season, outlasting Atlanta. Murray went 19-for-32 for 249 yards with an interception but was effective on the ground, rushing for 33 yards and a score. Murray will make his second start of the season this Sunday against the Houston Texans.

13. Sam Howell - Washington Commanders

Sam Howell and the Commanders dropped to 4-6 after losing to Seattle on Sunday, but Howell put together another complete game in an attempt to lock down the title of franchise quarterback. The second-year quarterback completed 29-of-44 passes for 312 yards and three touchdowns, carving up what has been an improved Seattle secondary. While Washington is on the outside of the playoff picture, Howell will have another chance to keep playing great football against the New York Giants this weekend.

14. Joshua Dobbs - Minnesota Vikings

Dobbs magic may not be FitzMagic, but the journeyman quarterback is now 2-0 in Minnesota behind two great showings. Joshua Dobbs completed 23-of-34 passes for 268 yards and a score, along with 44 rushing yards and a touchdown. He has Minnesota sitting at 6-4 after a tough start to the season. Dobbs will be in the national spotlight next Sunday as he takes on a surging Denver team on Sunday night.

15. Josh Allen - Buffalo Bills

Did Josh Allen get Ken Dorsey fired? You be the judge. Allen has thrown at least one interception in all but two games this season and leads the league with 11. He crumbled on Monday night against what has generally been a bad Denver defense, going 15-for-26 for 177 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions. Buffalo is now 5-4 and on the outside of the playoff picture as of today. They’ll be back in action against the Jets on Sunday, who they fell to in Week 1.

16. Trevor Lawrence - Jacksonville Jaguars

Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars struggled in their first game back from bye week, falling 34-3 to the San Francisco 49ers. Lawrence completed 17-of-29 passes for 185 yards and two interceptions, struggling against San Francisco’s tough defense. Jacksonville remains in the lead of the AFC North, but C.J. Stroud’s Texans are only a win back. This division could get interesting.

17. Geno Smith - Seattle Seahawks

Geno Smith put together his best game of the season on Sunday, completing 31-of-47 passes for 369 yards and two touchdowns en route to a 29-26 win over Washington. Smith hasn’t played quite to the level that he did a season ago, but Seattle is 6-3 nonetheless and on pace to return to the playoffs. They will take on a Los Angeles Rams team expected to return Matthew Stafford this Sunday.

18. Russell Wilson - Denver Broncos

Russell Wilson is 23rd in the league in passing yards (1,806) but second in touchdowns (18). Wilson has quietly taken a step in the right direction this season after a horrendous season a year ago, and after leading Denver to a huge Monday night win the Broncos are now 4-5. Wilson will be in prime time again this week as the Broncos take on Minnesota on Sunday night.

19. Matthew Stafford - Los Angeles Rams

Matthew Stafford (thumb) is expected to return this week to take on divisional rival Seattle in what feels like a must-win game for the 3-6 Rams. Stafford exited Week 8’s blowout loss to Dallas with the injury and sat out in Week 9.

20. Baker Mayfield - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield’s return to the map continued as he took down Tennessee 20-6. Mayfield completed 18-of-29 passes for 278 yards and two touchdowns with an interception to bring Tampa Bay to a 4-5 record. Mayfield faces a tough test as Tampa takes on San Francisco next week.

21. Derek Carr - New Orleans Saints

Derek Carr left the Saints’ loss to Minnesota with a concussion and shoulder injury, paving the way for Jameis Winston to finish the game. Carr was playing a very average game, as he was 13-for-18 for 110 yards prior to exiting. With New Orleans on bye this week, Carr believes he can get back for Week 12’s divisional matchup against Atlanta.

22. Justin Fields - Chicago Bears

Justin Fields still has not played since exiting Week 6’s loss to Minnesota, but it looks like this could be the week that the third-year quarterback returns to the field as Chicago takes on the Raiders. Tyson Bagent has the Bears sitting at 3-7 after leading them to a big win over Carolina a week ago.

23. Kenny Pickett - Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers are the most unlikely 6-3 team of all time. Kenny Pickett has heavily played underwhelming football, but Pittsburgh just keeps rattling off wins regardless. Pickett went 14-for-23 for 126 yards in Sunday’s win over Green Bay and will look to extend the win streak as they take on Cleveland next Sunday.

24. Will Levis - Tennessee Titans

Will Levis has cooled off significantly since his dazzling NFL debut. Levis did not lead the team to a touchdown, as Tennessee put up only six points in the loss to Tampa Bay. Levis completed 19-of-39 passes for 199 yards and an interception as the Titans fell to 3-6. This week, Levis faces a Jacksonville squad that just got dismantled by San Francisco.

25. Gardner Minshew II - Indianapolis Colts

Gardner Minshew II remains one of the most exciting quarterbacks in the league, offering the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. This past weekend in Germany, Minshew led his team to a gritty 10-6 win. He went 18-for-28 for 194 yards and an interception as the Colts rose to .500 on the season. Minshew and the Colts are on bye prior to a matchup against Tampa.

26. Aidan O'Connell - Las Vegas Raiders

Don’t look now but the new-look Raiders, led by Antonio Pierce and Aidan O’Connell, are 2-0. O’Connell has not impressed by any means, but has looked more like a veteran than a fourth-round rookie in his game management. The 25-year-old out of Purdue was 16-of-27 for 153 yards with a touchdown and an interception on Sunday night as Las Vegas beat the New York Jets.

27. Bryce Young - Carolina Panthers

Bryce Young and the Panthers return from their bye week to immediately face a hot Dallas Cowboys defense. Young has struggled in his rookie season (31st in QBR) and will likely struggle against Dallas.

28. Taylor Heinicke - Atlanta Falcons

Taylor Heinicke was knocked out of the loss against Arizona with a low-grade hamstring injury. Desmond Ridder came into the game in relief, and while he didn’t impress either, Arthur Smith refused to commit to either quarterback as the starter after the bye week. Heinicke was 8-of-15 for 55 yards and a score prior to exiting, while Ridder was 4-for-6 for 39 yards.

29. Zach Wilson - New York Jets

Zach Wilson has continued to struggle to quarterback the New York offense, falling 16-12 to the Raiders on Sunday night. Wilson completed 23-of-39 passes for 263 yards with an interception. Despite his inability to frequently score touchdowns, head coach Robert Saleh remains in support of his quarterback.

30. Jordan Love - Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love was again inconsistent in the loss to Pittsburgh on Sunday. Love completed 21-of-40 passes for 289 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions, ultimately losing 23-19. The Packers are now 3-6 with a tough stretch coming up against the Chargers, Lions, and Chiefs. They could easily enter the race for one of the top quarterback prospects if they drop those three as expected.

31. Mac Jones - New England Patriots

Nobody has played themselves out of a job more than Mac Jones has in 2023. Once the rookie hero leading his team to the playoffs, Jones is now on the chopping block in New England. Jones was 15-for-20 for 170 yards and an interception in Germany and was pulled in favor of Bailey Zappe for the two-minute drill (in which Zappe threw an interception.)

32. Tommy Devito - New York Giants

Tommy Devito’s job is to lose as many games as possible for New York, and he got off to a hot start on Sunday as the Cowboys rolled over the Giants 49-17. DeVito completed 14-of-27 passes for just 86 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. The rookie will be facing softer defenses the next few weeks with Washington, New England, and Green Bay as the next three on tap.
