6 months agoThe Tampa Bay Rays are widely expected to trade right-hander Tyler Glasnow and his $25 million salary this offseason. "We know this -- when the Rays look at players and their salaries creep upward, they tend to move on," MLB Network's Jon Morosi said. "And I think that Tyler Glasnow, for that reason, is out there and available today and this week." The 30-year-old starter will become a free agent after the 2024 season. He was limited by a left-oblique strain in 2023 but still made 21 regular season starts and had a solid 3.53 ERA with 162 strikeouts in 120 innings.
