DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (9/11/23): Today's Top MLB DFS Lineups

Kutter Crawford - fantasy baseball draft sleepers DFS MLB injury news

The top daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on September 11, 2023. Casey Wilson's MLB DFS analysis and sleepers for building optimal DFS rosters.

We're back at it on a Monday after a great football weekend. With the playoff race heating up, we are in for a heck of a final stretch of the season. Today, makes my 100th article on RotoBaller. I cannot believe I have already reached the century mark into my first year writing for the site, but it’s been a blast for me, and I hope for you all as well. Let’s keep the momentum rolling from last week.

I will cover the eleven-game slate starting at 7:05 p.m. in this article. Tyler Glasnow toes the rubber against the Minnesota Twins in one of the season's best spots. I also have a punt play in a great spot to help us open up some salary with the expensive Glasnow. The red-hot Astros will get the Oakland Athletics in a bullpen game. The Cubs will face Kyle Freeland at Coors Field, and the Mariners will face the struggling Reid Detmers. Let’s see who my favorite plays are for tonight’s slate!

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 9/11/2023 and the slate locking at 7:05 p.m. ET. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential. Now that we got all that out of the way, it's onto the picks! DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

I have decided to post my charts throughout the article that I have been using for DFS. I want to quickly explain the color coding and bolding so you can understand better. That is an elite play if you see bold capital letters and green. Bold letters with green are a great play. Bold letters with yellow is a good play. Bold letters with white are to be used to round out lineups. Letters that are not bold are to be used in MME only for player pools or to round out stacks in a single entry.

Tyler Glasnow, TBR vs. MIN ($10,800 DK, $11,500 FD)

Tyler Glasnow gets arguably one of the best matchups of the season tonight against the Minnesota Twins. He is coming off a 14-strikeout performance his last time out against Boston. Glasnow on the season is 8-5 with a 3.01 SIERA, 1.02 WHIP, 51.1% GB%, 33.5% K%, and 17.1% SwStr%. In the second half of the season, the Twins own a 27.8% K% against right-hand pitching, which is the highest in the big leagues. Glasgow will be chalky, but tonight's spot is too elite to pass up.

Kutter Crawford, BOS vs. NYY ($5,700 DK, $6,200 FD)

Kutter Crawford will square off against the Yankees in Fenway this evening. This play is not for the faint of heart and is a DraftKings play only as a punt. The Yankees, who over the last 30 days, own a 26.8% K% against right-hand pitching. They will send eight right-handed bats to the plate tonight. Crawford, on the season, has been dominant against right-handed bats. He has a 25.0% K%, .285 wOBA, and a .176 ISO over the last 30 days against righties compared to a 15.4 % K%, .349 wOBA, and .182 ISO against left-hand bats.

Crawford is in a perfect spot to capitalize on his strengths. In the second half of the season, the Yankees possess an 80 wRC+, .285 wOBA, .350 SLG, and a 25.9% K%. The price is right for Crawford on DraftKings as a punt and allows us to pay up for Glasnow and some bats we like. Hold your breath on this one, but Crawford is my favorite SP2 of the night on DraftKings.

Also consider: Logan Gilbert, Brandon Woodruff, Jordan Wicks, Framber Valdez

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Pete Alonso - 1B, NYM vs. Zach Davies ($5,100 DK, $4,000 FD)

Alonso will square off against the reverse splits of Zach Davies tonight in an excellent spot. He is a bit overpriced but has a double-dong upside, so I don’t mind paying up for him. Over the last 30 days, Davies owns a .452 wOBA, .207 ISO, and a 55.0% hard hit against right-handed bats. Over his previous 50 plate appearances, Alonso owns a .500 SLG against the split. Look for him to get a hold of one tonight in this matchup against Zach Davies.

Yoan Moncada - 3B, CWS vs. Brady Singer ($3,500 DK, $2,900 FD)

Full disclosure: I am unsure if Moncada will play tonight. He left early on Saturday with right knee discomfort and was not in the lineup yesterday. If he plays, he is one of my favorite values on the slate. Over the last 30 days, Singer has been hit hard by lefties. He owns a .435 wOBA, .364 ISO, and a 61.8% hard hit. He has given up six home runs over his last three starts. Moncada has been heating up. He owns a 149 wRC+, .390 wOBA, and a .537 SLG over his previous 50 plate appearances against the split. The White Sox are one of my favorite mini-stacks tonight if the lineup shakes out how I want it to.

Yanier Diaz  - C, HOU vs. Mason Miller ($4,000 DK, $2,900 FD)

Mason Miller will be the opener here for the A’s and will likely only go two to three innings. He is projected to be followed by Ken Waldichuk. The Astros have been red hot. Since August 20, they have owned 153 wRC+ and have been unstoppable. Over that span, Diaz has a 139 wRC+, .372 wOBA, and a .525 SLG. He locks down a challenging catcher position for us on DraftKings and will be low-owned on FanDuel, making him one of my favorite plays for the Astros. I wouldn’t say I like stacking against Mason Miller, but I don’t think anyone can currently slow this team down.

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

MJ Melendez - C/OF, KC vs. Dylan Cease ($3,500 DK, $2,800 FD)

Melendez gets a great matchup against Dylan Cease at a great price. Cease has given up four home runs in his last two starts. He owns a .469 wOBA, .302 ISO, and a 41.5% hard hit against left-handed bats in the previous 30 days. Since August 1, Melendez has a 178 wRC+, .435 wOBA, and a .641 SLG against the split in 105 plate appearances.

Christopher Morel - 2B/3B/OF, CHC vs. Kyle Freeland ($5,200 DK, $3,500 FD)

Cristopher Morel is my favorite play on the site for several reasons. His position eligibility is essential to building optimal lineups as he can help us construct in several ways to make players fit. He will lead off against Kyle Freeland tonight in Coors Field. Freeland owns a .412 wOBA, .283 ISO, and a 56.8% hard hit against right-handed bats in the last 30 days. Morel has a 212 wRC+, .485 wOBA, and a .789 SLG since August 1 against left-hand pitching. The Cubs and Morel are the top stacks of the night.

Julio Rodriguez - OF, SEA vs. Reid Detmers ($6,600 DK, $4,500 FD)

Julio Rodriguez will square off tonight against Reid Detmers. Full disclaimer before I say anything else, but I never get Detmers right. I love the Mariners tonight and think they are the stack on the board that can come in under-owned. J Rod has a 318 wRC+, .627 wOBA, and a .926 SLG against left-hand pitching since August 1. The Mariners are second in baseball against the split with a 134 wRC+. Stack them up tonight.

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

2. Seattle Mariners vs. Reid Detmers

Favorite Plays: Teoscar Hernandez, Julio Rodriguez, Dylan Moore, J.P. Crawford

3. Houston Astros vs. Mason Miller
