WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks (6/27/23): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings, FanDuel

WNBA dfs lineup picks daily fantasy basketball stock

Justin Carter's top daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for 6/27/23. Expert WNBA DFS advice for DraftKings, FanDuel.

Three WNBA games on Tuesday night, including a big game between two of the league's best teams as the Liberty head to Connecticut to face the Sun. The other games are the Storm and Lynx facing in Minnesota, and then the Wings and Mercury facing in the final game of the night.

If you're looking for WNBA daily fantasy picks and some betting advice this season, then you're in the right place. I'll be here providing picks for any slate with two or more games, as well as adding a little betting advice.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel. These lineup picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. The slates lock on 6/27/2023 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Want to talk more about the WNBA? I'm always available on Twitter and always down to discuss women's basketball: @juscarts.

WNBA DFS Picks: Forward

Napheesa Collier (Minnesota Lynx)  - vs. SEA - DK: $11,600, FD: $8,600

Diamond Miller is set to return on Tuesday night, which could take some usage away from Collier, but as long as Jessica Shepard remains out too, I still view Miller as a top play. She's not my top forward on this slate—that'd be Alyssa Thomas, who I'm not writing about because I decided to write about two Sun guards, and no one wants to read an article that's half Connecticut players—but she's a strong option.

Collier has scored 20-plus points in five of the past six games, and she has six or more rebounds in seven straight games. In addition, Collier has averaged 3.5 steals per game over the last two contests. Some strong recent numbers, largely sparked by some high volume. She's also done this despite struggling with her three-pointer, as she's a combined 2-for-9 in the last two games. Her volume from three gives her some intriguing upside if she can start connecting on more of them.

Jonquel Jones (New York Liberty)  - @ CON - DK: $8,400, FD: $5,800

Last game, Jones was supposed to be in a position to dominate. Stefanie Dolson was out, leaving a ton of minutes available for Jones. She was coming off her best game of the season, so it was a really good chance for her to keep things rolling.

Instead, she scored zero points. Jones was 0-for-3 from the floor and turned the ball over four times. It was just not a great showing, though her 10 rebounds did keep it from being a total fantasy fail.

But I'm going back to the well again with Jones. Dolson's still out, so the theory that she'll get more minutes is still alive, and she can't have this bad of a game again, right? Plus, the Sun are playing very small due to injuries, so Jones should have an advantage because of her height, with Brionna Jones won't be on the floor to defend her.

Dorka Juhasz (Minnesota Lynx)  - vs. SEA - DK: $5,500, FD: $4,300

Look, the Lynx frontcourt rotation with Jessica Shepard out has been tough to predict, but the fact remains that someone in this frontcourt is usually a good value option. It's just hard to know if it's Juhasz or Nikolina Milic.

Well...Juhasz has normally been the one getting more minutes, aside from whatever happened against the Sparks, when she played just eight minutes. She bounced back last game with 26 minutes of playing time, going 4-for-7 for eight points and adding six rebounds, two assists, and one block.

WNBA DFS Picks: Guard

DeWanna Bonner (Connecticut Sun)  - vs. NY - DK: $9,400, FD:  $6,900

With Brionna Jones out, Bonner's going to see even more usage, usually. She only played 20 minutes against the Lynx, but her showing last game against the Sky seemed more indicative of what to expect from her this season.

In that one, Bonner was 10-for-16 with 26 points while also adding eight rebounds, one assists, and two steals. I think the efficiency will usually be a little lower, but considering Bonner's scored 20-plus points in four of the last five games, I think expecting something like a 20/8 line most nights is well within reason.

Tiffany Hayes (Connecticut Sun)  - vs. NY - DK: $7,400, FD: $4,900

Hayes was a big offseason acquisition for the Sun, but until recently she's been pretty hit-or-miss. She hadn't gone multiple games in a row with double-digit points since May, for example.

But she's done it three games in a row now, including going for 21 points on 8-for-16 shooting against the Lynx, with six rebounds and an assist as well. It seems like the Sun are working on getting the ball to Hayes a little more, and she's also been knocking her shots down a little more consistently, shooting 50% or better from the floor in four consecutive outings.

Diana Taurasi (Phoenix Mercury)  - vs. DAL - DK: $7,300, FD: $6,300

After missing three games with a hamstring injury, Taurasi returned to the floor last game. She only played 19 minutes, but she had 13 points on 4-for-8 shooting with four rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

The Mercury coaching change clouds some things, but Taurasi's salary has just plummeted since the injury, making this a great potential value play assuming her minutes ramp up a little more tonight. The Mercury still lack a lot of perimeter offense, so if Taurasi is on the floor, she'll be taking shots.
