Cleveland Browns Schedule: 2023 NFL Games, Strength Of Schedule, Fantasy Outlooks

What is the Browns schedule? View the Cleveland Browns schedule for 2023. NFL games, dates, times and strength of schedule analysis for fantasy football.

The Cleveland Browns finished with a 7-10 record last season. It’s a respectable finish considering that Jacoby Brissett started most of the games. Unfortunately, they only had one winning streak in 2022, lasting two games.

The team has renewed hope in 2023, hoping to compete for a postseason berth. But achieving that goal is easier said than done, even if they have the 16th-ranked strength of schedule according to their opponent’s 2022 records.

Their record will also depend on how they compete in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL today.

Thoughts On The Cleveland Browns 2023 Schedule

While the Browns have nine home games this season, they haven’t played particularly well in front of their home crowd. Last year, they went 4-4, which could have been better if not for their Week 2 collapse against the New York Jets.

They will have a rematch with New York’s AFC squad, but Aaron Rodgers will make it a touch matchup yet again. Aside from the Jets and their AFC North rivals, the Browns will host playoff teams like Jacksonville and San Francisco. Those matchups could go down the wire.

Cleveland’s road games at Denver and Los Angeles could also be uphill battles, especially if both teams bounce back from their disappointing 2022 campaigns.

Finally, they only have one short turnaround in 2023, but it could seal their playoff hopes. After facing the Texans on the road, they will have four days to prepare for the Jets. Their schedule doesn’t get easier because they will play the Bengals in Cincinnati to close the regular season.

Cleveland Browns Season Record Prediction

The Cleveland Browns will finish the regular season with a 10-7 record. However, that outcome hinges on several factors. First, can they take advantage of having four of their first five games at home? Building momentum early on can give them confidence throughout the season.

Second, will Deshaun Watson return to Pro Bowl form? He led the league in passing yards two seasons ago. With an entire offseason available for him, his performance will largely dictate how the Browns will end up. He will also benefit from having targets like Elijah Moore, Amari Cooper, and Cedric Tillman.

Finally, can the Browns’ defensive front sustain the pressure? Dalvin Tomlinson and Za’Darius Smith are nice additions to relieve some pressure off Myles Garrett. Cleveland is in good hands if they feed off each other.
