There is some light rain forecasted for Pirates-Phillies but it is unclear whether this will have an effect on the game or not at the moment. Check for updates closer to lock!
DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Max Scherzer- P, NYM vs. COL ($11,400 DK, $11,000 FD)
Max Scherzer has the best SIERA on the slate (3.01), the second-highest strikeout rate (30.0%), and faces probably the worst offense on the slate (Colorado away from Coors). He is very expensive but has the highest floor and highest ceiling on the slate too.
Ross Stripling- P, TOR vs. LAA ($7,400 DK, $7,700 FD)
Ross Stripling has the sixth-best SIERA on the slate and is very affordable on both sites going against a weak offense overall.
Nick Lodolo- P, CIN @ WSN ($9,300 DK, $9,500 FD)
Nick Lodolo has high upside with a 28.2% strikeout rate -- third best on the slate. He also has a high walk rate at 10.3%. He is similar to Dylan Cease but less expensive and also less likely to get the win.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Kyle Farmer 3B, CIN vs. Patrick Corbin ($3,800 DK, $3,300 FD)
Farmer has a .403 wOBA and .235 ISO against LHP.
Brandon Crawford- SS, SF vs. Aaron Sanchez ($2,800 DK, $2,400 FD)
Aaron Sanchez has a low strikeout rate (15.3%) and a SIERA north of 4.00 (4.37). He is having a miserable season but is in a good spot. If you don't like here, just go down to the minimum price and punt here.
Kolten Wong- 2B, MIL vs. Adrian Sampson ($3,100 DK, $2,700 FD)
Kolten Wong should bat towards the middle of the order in a game in which Milwaukee is implied for five runs. With nine home runs and 13 steals, he has some upside here.
Nate Lowe- 1B, TEX vs. Drew Hutchinson ($3,800 DK, $3,500 FD)
Nate Lowe has a .349 OBP and .193 ISO this season. Hutchinson is one of the worst pitchers on the slate with a 5.14 SIERA and a 4.6 K-BB%.
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Trent Grisham- OF, SD vs. Jonathan Heasley ($3,400 DK, $2,500 FD)
His on-base percentage is down but this is a game the Padres should dominate. Even if he hits towards the bottom of the order, I am hoping he gets an extra plate appearance or two from the team doing so well.
Gavin Sheets- OF, CHW vs. Zach Davies ($2,600 DK, $2,500 FD)
Gavin Sheets has a .330 wOBA and .178 ISO against RHP this season. That is not amazing or anything but at this price, and considering the White Sox are implied for over four runs, he is someone to consider. Most of the rest of the lineup is more expensive.
Christian Yelich- OF, MIL vs. Adrian Sampson ($3,900 DK, $3,200 FD)
He isn't the same player he used to be, but leading off in a potentially high scoring game and a .347 wOBA against RHP isn't bad.
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
Here are a few stacks I am really liking today outside of Coors Field (Coors is always a stacking option)
- Toronto Blue Jays- Tucker Davidson has a 6.41 SIERA and a -4.2 K-BB%. They are expensive but could score a lot.
- San Diego Padres - Jonathan Heasley has a 5.27 SIERA and a 5.0 K-BB%.
- Texas Rangers- Often Drew Hutchinson would be the worst pitcher on the slate and instead he is the third worst.
- Chicago White Sox- It's tough to play this team but Zach Davies has a 4.64 SIERA and they play in a good hitter's park.
