NCAA Tournament DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks for Elite Eight - March Madness Daily Fantasy (3/26)

JD Notae daily college fantasy basketball CFB DFS picks March Madness

Today's DraftKings NCAA Tournament DFS lineup picks for college basketball's Elite Eight (3/26). Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice for 2022 March Madness.

68 teams started on their quest a week ago. Only eight remain. This is the point where most of the cream has risen to the top. The O.G.'s Duke are still around in Coach K's final ride. Kelvin Sampson is on the verge of another Final Four. The Hogs finally beat a number one seed and are on the verge of their first Final Four trip since 1995. Then we have Villanova, who it seems is always here.

We start off with the South Regional Final between Villanova and Houston. The fifth-seeded Cougars are only 200 miles away from campus, so they have a decided advantage against the second-seeded Wildcats, at least in the crowd. We finish off in the West where Duke seeks a final Coach K championship against an Arkansas team that not only ousted their first NCAA tournament one seed, but they also beat the number one team in the nation this year against Auburn. This is going to be a fun night of basketball!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/26/22 starting at 6:10 pm Eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings DFS Guards - NCAA Tournament

JD Notae, Arkansas ($7,800)

Notae has racked up 118.25 DraftKings points in the first three games of the tournament. The poor game against A&M in the SEC Tournament feels like longer than 12 days ago. He's taking a lot of shots in the tournament and that is going to continue. Remember what I said about Notae being 3-5 made shots away from a huge line? He made a few more shots against Gonzaga and wound up with 46 DraftKings points. He has the best ceiling among guards tonight.

Jamal Shead, Houston ($6,500)

You could argue – pretty convincingly – that Shead is the most integral part of Houston's continued success. This team is better when he plays better. Shead has 61 points, eight boards, 16 assists, and six steals in the three tournament games so far. I say so far because Houston has an excellent chance at winning this game. Not only is the crowd behind them, but they have the guards to tangle with Villanova. Not every team does.

Jeremy Roach, Duke ($5,400)

The Blue Devils put Roach back in the starting five for the first time since February 12 in round 1 of Coach K's final dance. He responded with 75.25 DraftKings points in the first half of the tournament. Roach's experience has come in very handy for a Duke team that looks prepared to make a deep run. Roach was efficient and filled the stat sheet against a strong Texas Tech team. I really like Roach at a lower price against a team like Arkansas.

Also consider: Kyler Edwards, Houston ($7,500); Collin Gillespie, Villanova ($6,900); Justin Moore, Villanova ($6,000); Au'Diese Toney, Arkansas ($4,800)

DraftKings DFS Forwards - NCAA Tournament

Mark Williams Duke ($7,700)

Williams has at least 31 DraftKings points in all three tournament games. He is the one guy that Arkansas could really have problems with. Texas Tech was able to limit some of the peripherals so he lit up the scoreboard instead. I think you'll see Arkansas attempt the same thing, but they aren't as physical of a team. We should see another game near 40 for Williams. They are going to have a hard time keeping him off the boards.

Jermaine Samuels, Villanova ($6,200)

Samuels has had a great tournament so far, putting up 104.5 DraftKings points in three games. It's a welcome sight after he was shut down by Creighton in the Big East championship game. Even teams with size such as Michigan and Ohio State aren't slowing down Samuels right now. This could be bad news for Houston. They are a little on the smaller side. Similar teams to them (UConn and Syracuse for example) had major problems with Samuels. I like him a lot at this price point.

Trey Wade, Arkansas ($3,100)

Wade stepped up in a big way, playing 33 minutes and racking up 30.75 DraftKings points in the upset of Gonzaga. The Razorbacks aren't going to let this kind of production rot on the bench. Gonzaga is a large team. Duke is much the same. I don't see Wade starting, but there's a good chance that he plays upwards of 25 minutes again. That's great potential for near minimum price.

Also consider: Paolo Banchero, Duke ($8,000); Jaylin Williams, Arkansas ($7,200); Taze Moore, Houston ($6,700); Caleb Daniels, Villanova ($5,600); AJ Griffin, Duke ($5,200)
