CBB DFS: NCAA National Championship DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (4/7/25)

Florida Gators - Team College Logo Stock

Today's DraftKings NCAA Championship BB DFS lineup picks for 4/7/25. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

It has been a wild few months on the college basketball scene and hopefully, I've helped you come out of this DFS adventure ahead of where you came into it. It was a fun ride that comes down to an intriguing matchup that most never really planned on.

It was supposed to be Duke and Auburn here. All of the metrics said so. Instead, we have the hottest team entering the tournament in Florida and maybe the best Houston team we've seen in 40 years. That's a nice consolation prize!

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 4/7/25, starting at 8:50 p.m. EDT. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Captains - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Walter Clayton Jr., Florida ($17.4K)

When you find yourself in the same sentence as Larry Bird, you know you're doing something right. Clayton has come a long way from the freshman at Iona who averaged around seven points per game. Stories of how savage Larry Bird was on the court are the stuff of NBA lore. Clayton may have that same dog in him.

His last two games have been as good as any he has played this season. Clayton is getting it done when Florida needs him most. Bet against him at your own risk.

LJ Cryer, Houston ($15.3K)

This game is a massive contrast of style. Houston can play a faster game, but they would rather not. Florida will try to speed this up, and they should have some success in that department. That makes Houston's best scorer the most important DFS play in this game. The defense got them here, but scoring will have to beat Florida.

Emanuel Sharp, Houston ($10.5K)

I'll run Sharp for the same reason that I'll run Cryer; he can score. If you notice, all three of the major scoring threats are my captain picks. Key defensive plays may decide this game, but I don't think Houston will ugly this game up enough to keep the scoring way down. This should play in the 70s.

Also consider: Alijah Martin, Florida ($12.6K); Joseph Tugler, Houston ($9K)

Today's DraftKings Utility Plays - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Alijah Martin, Florida ($8.4K)

Martin's previous Final Four experience helped in Saturday's game. He has one of his most efficient games of the season. We would like to see more peripheral stats, but in a game where scoring could be king, I feel it would be foolish to ignore Martin. He has scored in double figures in every game since February 25.

Alex Condon, Florida ($7.6K)

Condon's size could be a problem for Houston. The Cougars are a rough-and-tumble bunch on the interior, but Condon's sheer size is going to alter some shots and he could dominate the boards. However, there is a risk here. Condon scored just one point against Auburn and fouled out in 23 minutes.

Also consider: Thomas Haugh, Florida ($10K); J'Wan Roberts, Houston ($8K)

Today's DraftKings Bargain Plays - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Joseph Tugler, Houston ($6K)

Tugler was huge inside against Duke and he'll need to be against Florida as well. He did a good job on Khaman Maluach and to some extent, Cooper Flagg. Tugler isn't much of a scorer, but he does everything else.

He's Houston's defensive heart. If you think this will be a lower-scoring game, Tugler is the captain you want. Regardless of how you think this game plays out, Tugler should be in every lineup. He'll be in all of mine.

Rueben Chinyelu, Florida ($4.2K)

Chinyelu was huge with Condon in foul trouble. That may result in more minutes, regardless of Condon's foul status. Chinyelu is the kind of guy who can hold his own inside with Tugler. He's riskier than Tugler, but Chinyelu could be a huge value at this price.

Also consider: Emanuel Sharp, Houston ($7K); Ja'Vier Francis, Houston ($4.6K)
