Week 5 MNF Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 5:
Keon Coleman, Buffalo Bills
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman is coming off his best game of the season, catching six of seven targets for 116 yards and a touchdown against New England. He has been much more productive when DJ Moore has left games early, totaling 12 receptions for 179 yards in those two contests compared with just two catches for 38 yards in the other two. That trend becomes especially relevant this week.
Moore (shoulder) is questionable for Monday, and Joshua Palmer (shoulder) has been ruled out after getting injured during Friday's practice. Coleman could be one of Josh Allen's primary receiving options regardless of whether Moore suits up. Los Angeles has been outstanding against the pass, so the matchup isn't particularly friendly, but the available targets make Coleman interesting. He's WR35 in RotoBaller's Saturday rankings and carries flex appeal for Week 5.
Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills
Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid has seen his production drop considerably after a terrific start to the season. Kincaid caught 12 passes for 225 yards and a touchdown in the first two games, but he's managed only three receptions for 45 yards over the last two weeks. The bigger concern is his involvement, with just two targets against both the Chargers and Patriots. Buffalo's receiving situation could create more opportunities Monday, with Joshua Palmer ruled out and DJ Moore questionable because of a shoulder injury.
That doesn't guarantee Kincaid will suddenly return to his early-season workload, particularly against a Rams defense that has allowed only 582 passing yards through four games. Still, RotoBaller has him at TE5 in its updated Week 5 rankings. Kincaid remains a strong fantasy starter, but his recent usage is worth watching closely.
Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee should continue to be viewed as a TE1 in fantasy football ahead of Monday's Week 5 contest against the Buffalo Bills. Higbee has been highly productive ever since Terrance Ferguson (ankle) went down in Week 3, and he'll remain in the starting tight end role until Ferguson returns from injured reserve later this season.
In two games as the primary tight end, Higbee has an impressive 17 targets, 13 catches, 129 yards, and one touchdown. This isn't the most appealing matchup ever, as Buffalo has surrendered a modest 20 catches, 190 yards, and one touchdown to tight ends in 2026. With that being said, this is still the same Bills defense that let Hunter Henry finally break out with a season-high five catches for 62 yards.
Therefore, we're optimistic that Higbee can be a top-12 scoring tight end in fantasy football this year.
Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams cooled off (by his standards) last week, but he could have a fantastic opportunity to bounce back as a productive pass-catcher and a fantasy WR2 during Monday's Week 5 contest against the Buffalo Bills. Adams has fetched at least nine targets in each of his last three games, and he went for over 135 yards in each of the two games that teammate Puka Nacua missed.
Nacua is back now, but we don't think he's the direct reason for Adams ' quieter performance last week.
Either way, he'll get a great opportunity to bounce back against the Bills, who have allowed the seventh-most receptions, fifth-most yards, second-most touchdowns, and fourth-most fantasy points to wide receivers in 2026. Adams remains firmly entrenched as a WR2 in fantasy lineups, with the potential for WR1 upside.
Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams has been fantastic this season, posting at least 15 fantasy points (PPR) per game and ranking as the overall RB6 so far. He has been particularly dominant in the passing game, where he has a whopping 20 targets and 16 catches over his last two games alone. That should set him up incredibly well for Monday's Week 5 matchup against the Buffalo Bills, who have been exposed by running backs this year.
In particular, the Bills defense has allowed the sixth-most catches, the sixth-most receiving yards, and the second-most receiving touchdowns to running backs this year. Given how well Williams has performed as a receiver (and, of course, as a runner), he's a must-start RB1 for this week's game against the Bills. In fact, we would not be surprised if this highly favorable matchup results in him finishing among the top three highest-scoring running backs this week.
