Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 12:
Kenneth Gainwell, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers
The matchup sets up well, as Chicago gives up the fourth-most yards per carry and over 20 fantasy points per contest to opposing running backs. Starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers (wrist) is questionable, but it's worth noting that much of Gainwell's Week 11 production came with Mason Rudolph under center.
While he doesn't offer a particularly safe floor, the 26-year-old former Philadelphia Eagles running back profiles as a viable flex option with upside this week.
Sean Tucker, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs remain without Bucky Irving (shoulder, toe) for at least one more game. Tucker figures to continue splitting up the carries with Rachaad White in the backfield. However, Tucker might've surpassed White on the depth chart after that huge performance last week.
Tucker should almost certainly have a larger role against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12. If he plays anything like he did last week, fantasy managers should be able to get RB2 value out of him.
Romeo Doubs, WR, Green Bay Packers
With quarterback Jordan Love facing blitzes from the vaunted Brian Flores-led Vikings' defense this Sunday, Doubs should be an outlet for the Packers' offense to keep moving the chains.
With the Packers' receiving production coming down to Doubs and Christian Watson in the last couple of weeks, they have condensed a good amount of the team's production. Consider Doubs a solid flex play for this matchup in Week 12.
Jordan Addison, WR, Minnesota Vikings
Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy has struggled without a doubt, but Addison also dropped two big passes last week, including a picture-perfect ball on a deep route that had a chance to score.
Green Bay ranks 11th against PPR receivers and Minnesota is wavering, but Addison is talented, still earning enough targets (18 the past two weeks), and the Vikings' offense has enough pieces that some managers may be willing to stomach the risk of another bad week in hopes Addison will break the slump in a big way.
Jauan Jennings, WR, San Francisco 49ers
Carolina's secondary has been slipping lately, resulting in a top-12 finish for an opposing wide receiver in three of the last four weeks (the gap filled by a top-24 performance). Jennings straddles the line between WR2 and WR3 in Week 12 projections and is worthy of a starting slot in fantasy football lineups.
