Who Should I Start For Fantasy Football Week 14? Tua Tagovailoa, Jameis Winston, Caleb Williams

Jameis Winston - NFL DFS Picks, Waiver Wire, Fantasy Football Rankings

Who should I start for Week 14? Fantasy football outlooks for Tua Tagovailoa, Jameis Winston, Caleb Williams. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.

The 2024 fantasy football regular season is nearly over. Week 14 is the final regular season matchup for most fantasy football leagues.

Therefore, making lineup decisions this week could be do or die for many fantasy teams.

Should fantasy players start Tua Tagovailoa, Jameis Winston, or Caleb Williams in Week 14? Let’s dive into it.

Should I Start Tua Tagovailoa For Fantasy Football?

Unfortunately, Tagovailoa’s season has been defined by missing four games because of a concussion. However, the veteran has played well this year. He is the QB22 for the season, averaging 17.7 fantasy points per game. Last week, Tagovailoa had 365 passing yards, two touchdowns, and 25.2 fantasy points against the Green Bay Packers.

The former Alabama star has scored 23.5 or more fantasy points in three consecutive games. Fantasy players should expect his streak to continue in Week 14 against the New York Jets. They have surrendered 28.1 or more fantasy points to quarterbacks in two of their past three games.

Should I Start Jameis Winston For Fantasy Football?

Fantasy players know Winston can win them their matchup. However, he can also lose it for fantasy players. The veteran quarterback has averaged 21.3 fantasy points per game in his five starts this season, totaling 23.6 or more in three matchups, including last week.

Winston had three interceptions in Week 13, including two returned for touchdowns. However, he scored 33 fantasy points against the Denver Broncos, totaling 497 passing yards and four touchdowns in the loss. Unfortunately, Winston faces the Pittsburgh Steelers for the second time in three weeks on Sunday. Winston failed to throw a touchdown the last time he played the Steelers.

Should I Start Caleb Williams For Fantasy Football?

The rookie has had an up-and-down fantasy season. Williams is the QB13 for the year, averaging 15.9 fantasy points per game, totaling 14 passing touchdowns. However, he scored fewer than 11.5 fantasy points in six of his first nine games. Thankfully, the former USC star has been significantly better since the change at offensive coordinator.

Williams has averaged 298 passing yards, 2.5 touchdowns, 36 rushing yards, and 26.5 fantasy points per game over the past two weeks, totaling 26 or more in both matchups. Meanwhile, he faces a San Francisco 49ers defense in Week 14 that has surrendered two passing touchdowns to quarterback in back-to-back weeks.
