Who should I start for Divisional Round? Fantasy football outlooks for Terry McLaurin, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Cooper Kupp. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.
The Washington Commanders will take on the Detroit Lions, and the Los Angeles Rams will face the Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional round of the 2024-2025 NFL playoffs. From among these teams, a trio of receivers are intriguing options for Daily Fantasy Sports lineups.
Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin, Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Rams wideout Cooper Kupp have all had varying degrees of success this season and, at their cash prices on DraftKings and FanDuel, have the potential to swing matchups in DFS cash games.
Below, we'll break down which ones we think you should add to your rosters and which you should pass on for the 3rd-to-last slate of NFL contests this season.
Should I Start Terry McLaurin for Fantasy Football?
We like picking him up in DFS. The Detroit Lions have especially struggled against outside receivers, which shouldn't be a huge surprise since their defense has been absolutely decimated by injuries, especially in the secondary.

You can dig up all the advanced stats you want, but we're in the playoffs now, and Washington doesn't have any other legitimate pass-catching options at WR. They'll almost certainly be hunting for another wideout after the season ends and could take one early in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Expect Daniels to sling plenty of passes McLaurin's way in a game that should be a shootout.
Should I Start Amon-Ra St. Brown for Fantasy Football?
St. Brown is somehow only the third-most expensive WR on DraftKings right now, and we think that's odd. The Commanders' secondary, who he'll be matched up with, hasn't been great at slowing down receivers this season. And since both teams have a good offense, we could see a high-scoring affair on Saturday.

St. Brown has maintained elite production for some time now, and the Lions offense is seemingly defense-proof unless quarterback Jared Goff decides to throw a million interceptions like he did against the Houston Texans earlier in the season.
Still, ARSB had six catches on eight targets and racked up 60 yards and a touchdown. He's pretty much matchup-proof.
Should I Start Cooper Kupp for Fantasy Football?
This is something we wouldn't recommend doing. Kupp has seemingly fallen off a cliff this season, and while he had some solid games earlier in the year, the writing was on the wall at that point as well. He's 31 years old with a long history of serious injuries, and his ability to do a variety of WR things at a high level has dropped off in a big way.

He's struggling to separate, which is our biggest concern. And that makes sense -- he's never been very fast, and his explosiveness out of breaks has diminished greatly. It's tough to trust him against an elite defense like Philadelphia's, and it's not like he did much to assuage our concerns against the Minnesota Vikings last week.
