Week 16 Kicker Streamers and Starts - 2025 Fantasy Tiers, Rankings

Jake Bates - Fantasy Football Rankings, Kicker Waiver Wire Pickups, Streamers

Kacey Kasem looks at all 2025 fantasy football Week 16 kickers -- streamers, starts, sits, targets, avoids, and waiver wire pickups. Our Week 16 rankings and tiers for all of the NFL kickers.

If you've made it to the playoffs but are questioning your kicker decision, the fantasy football kicker streamers, rankings, and starts for Week 16 of the 2025 NFL season can help. Luckily, for managers needing a kicker this week, there are plenty of viable options who can put up decent points. The bad news is that there are a handful of landmines out there.

Week 15 displayed how tricky this position can be. Seattle kicker Jason Myers made franchise history, drilling six field goals, including a 56-yard game-winner against the Colts. Meanwhile, Brandon Aubrey had a rare off-night, missing two long field goals after missing just twice all season. Even then, it was still a productive fantasy performance.

All of this matters because it displays where kickers stand right now. Most weeks, a solid portion of them give you usable points, while a few surprise with monster games, and others let you down. Week 16 has clear starts and a few kickers you should avoid entirely. Let's sort through the options to help you survive another playoff week.

Editor's Note: The FFPC Playoff Challenge #2 is back with a massive $100,000 grand prize and $203,250 total prize pool, paying down to 100th place. Here's the deal: no salary cap, no draft, no pickups, no subs. Choose 8 players, and as NFL teams get knocked out so will your players, so choose your team wisely. The entries will sell out quickly, and registrations will close on Saturday January 17th at 4:30 pm ET . Don't wait - get your team now and end your fantasy football season with a shot at $100,000! Kicker Streamers to Target for Week 16

Only kickers rostered in fewer than 60% of fantasy football leagues are considered streamers.

Will Reichard (MIN) at New York Giants
23% Rostered

Reichard showed late-game confidence against Dallas in Week 15, drilling a 53-yard field goal with just over a minute left on the clock. The kick sealed a 34-26 win while displaying the trust Minnesota has in its kicker from a distance.

The K6 on the season is 24-of-26 on field goals and a perfect 27-for-27 on extra points. He's also made history as the first player in NFL history to hit four field goals from 59 yards or longer in a single campaign. His leg strength gives an added edge in situations where the offense stalls outside of the red zone.

Against Dallas, Reichard crossed another milestone, scoring over 200 points in his career. He finished the contest with 204 career points in just 27 games.

Heading into a matchup with the Giants, a team ranking in the top five in fantasy points given up to kickers, Reichard is a trustworthy option in a contest where he'll be very active.

Harrison Mevis (LAR) at Seattle Seahawks
5% Rostered

Efficiency continues to be what Mevis is known for with the Rams. In Sunday's 41-21 victory over Detroit, he connected on both field goal tries and made all five of his extra points, accounting for 11 points. It marked the second time this year he's made multiple field goals in a single contest, and he's yet to miss a kick since winning the job.

The sample size isn't massive, but he's been able to do a lot in only six games. Mevis is flawless this season, making all 28 of his extra point attempts and five field goals. He hasn't had a huge performance, but the consistency makes him a safe play during the playoffs.

Seattle presents a tough matchup this week, ranking in the top five against kickers. That knocks his ceiling a bit, but the Rams' offense has shown it can put points on the board.

It's a divisional rematch on Thursday Night Football, and Mevis should stay busy in this one. He already has two double-digit performances on the season, and looks to add another this week.

Ka'imi Fairbairn (HOU) at Las Vegas Raiders
58% Rostered

There aren't many kickers who are as consistently involved in their offense as Fairbairn has been this season.

In the 30-20 win over the Cardinals in Week 15, the veteran connected on 4-of-5 field goal attempts and knocked in all four extra points. His longest make came from 55 yards, and his only miss was a 52-yarder that was blocked. The heavy usage makes him a key factor down the stretch.

Looking at the season, he has been one of the steadier options. He's 33-for-37 on field goals, with all four of his misses coming from 50-plus. Additionally, he's perfect on extra points, going 22-for-22. Fairbairn missed time earlier in the season, but he still sits as the K4 overall and remains underrostered in plenty of leagues.

What stands out most about Fairbairn is how he consistently posts points. There has only been one contest all season where he's made just one field goal. Every other outing has resulted in two or more, and three different matchups have featured four or more field goals. He's an easy start in Week 16 when facing a struggling Raiders team.

Kickers to Avoid for Week 16

Jake Moody (WAS) vs. Philadelphia Eagles
3% Rostered

Week 15's results might make this look like a good spot, but context is always key. Against the Giants, Moody went 3-for-3 on field goals and 2-for-3 on point after attempts in the 29-21 win. His missed extra point was his first of the season, but overall, he's been accurate when called upon.

His problem hasn't been accuracy; it's been usage. Across his three regular-season games with Washington, he's connected on all five field goal attempts and 4-of-5 extra points. There was also a contest in Week 14 against Minnesota where he didn't attempt a single kick. Inconsistency like that is hard to trust, especially when playoffs are on the line.

Moody's matchup in Week 16 doesn't help matters. Washington hosts Philadelphia to battle a team that's been middle-of-the-pack to stingy against the kicker position. This isn't a game that should lead to many field goal attempts.

He's not a bad kicker, but this sets up to be a low-ceiling fantasy week. You'll probably get points from Moody, just not the kind you want in the playoffs.

Younghoe Koo (NYG) vs. Minnesota Vikings
5% Rostered

At this point, holding Koo due to name value is doing more harm than good. He had another rough outing in Week 15, missing both of his field goal tries from 51 and 52 yards. Both misses went left, and reports indicated he struggled with kicks during warmups. The veteran made all three extra points, but that couldn't salvage his day.

Atlanta cut Koo because the production wasn't there, and that's the same situation in New York. He is 4-for-6 on field goals and 11-for-12 on extra points. Koo is a far cry from the kicker he once was, and it's important to realize that when setting lineups.

The matchup in Week 16 might look nice on paper, with Minnesota ranking in the top five in fantasy points allowed to kickers this season. Some weeks, the Vikings have bled points to the position.

That won't matter much if the kicker can't convert when given chances. Koo has been so hard to trust this season, and there are too many consistent options available to justify rolling him out in the playoffs.

Daniel Carlson (LV) at Houston Texans
10% Rostered

Zero attempts paint the picture of why Carlson shouldn't be in starting lineups for Week 16. In Week 15's 31-0 loss to the Eagles, the kicker didn't try a single kick. It was the second time in three weeks that he had gone without attempting a field goal, making it impossible to trust him in fantasy.

Even when he gets opportunities, the results aren't always great. He's 17-for-22 on field goals this season, hitting just 3-of-6 from beyond 50 yards. Carlson has also hit on 17-of-18 extra points this season. His efficiency isn't what it once was, and the offense isn't creating enough scoring chances to make up for it.

Week 16's matchup with the Texans only worsens the situation for Carlson. The Houston defense has allowed the fewest fantasy points to kickers all season.

He's already dealing with limited volume and shaky efficiency, and now he's facing one of the toughest matchups. Don't let his name fool you; he's a clear sit everywhere this week.
