Kyle's top Week 12 NFL survivor pool selections, his 3 best NFL Survivor/Eliminator picks for 2025. Target and avoid these NFL teams in Week 12 Survivor contests.
Week 12 kicked off with the Texans upsetting the Bills as 5.5-point underdogs on Thursday night. Favorites went 11-4 last week, and seven of the 13 remaining matchups this week feature a spread of at least a touchdown. That's the most in a single week so far this season.
That includes three double-digit favorites this week. Teams own a 10-1 record (91%) this season as favorites of 10+ points, with the lone loss being the Packers versus the Panthers in Week 9. Teams favored by a touchdown or more are 44-9 (83%) straight up this season and went 4-0 last week, per KillerSports.com.
So, let's dive in and look at the best and worst survivor pool selections for Week 12.

Baltimore Ravens (-13.5) vs. New York Jets
The Jets are turning to former Ravens quarterback Tyrod Taylor this week and face a big challenge on the road against a healthy Ravens squad. Baltimore has won three straight games with Lamar Jackson back at the helm, but they haven't come in the most convincing fashion. And Jackson has already been sacked 23 times in seven games this season, matching last season's total in 17 games.

Since his return, the offense has been mediocre, ranking 15th in EPA/Play (0.029). But the defense has been elite for over a month now after a brutal start to the season. Since Week 6, Baltimore's defense is fourth in EPA/Play (-0.131). Taylor has been equally as bad as Justin Fields in his small sample this season. Out of 40 quarterbacks with at least 95 dropbacks this season, Taylor ranks 34th in EPA/Play (-0.044) and Fields ranks 35th (-0.051).
Jackson and the Ravens offense get a much-needed soft matchup defensively after going through the wringer the past two weeks on the road at Minnesota and Cleveland. The Jets' defense was already bad, and then they traded away their two best defenders at the deadline. Plus, Baltimore has a 10-2 record against the Jets in franchise history.
Seattle Seahawks (-13.5) at Tennessee Titans
Seattle's defense bottled up Matthew Stafford and the Rams' high-powered offense last week despite the loss. It was the Rams' worst offensive performance of the season by success rate (35.8%) and their sixth-worst since 2022. On the other side of the ball, however, Sam Darnold tied a career high with four interceptions and now has seven turnovers in the last two games.

The Titans have some positive momentum after losing on a walk-off field goal to the Texans last week. They ran 31 plays with a lead, their most in a game this season. Additionally, Tennessee's best defensive player in Jeffery Simmons, returned after missing three games with a hamstring injury and immediately made an impact with a sack and tackle for loss. Simmons' matchup against Seattle's interior offensive line will be one to watch, with rookie first-round guard Grey Zabel deemed a game-time decision.
The Seahawks' defense should overwhelm the Titans' anemic offense. The Titans are without both top wideouts, Calvin Ridley (leg) and Elic Ayomanor (hamstring). Seattle should suffocate them defensively and do enough on offense to earn their eighth win of the season.
Detroit Lions (-12.5) vs. New York Giants
It was an ugly performance last week in Philadelphia for Jared Goff. He posted the worst completion rate (37.8%) of his career and by a starting quarterback in a game this season. But he returns to the friendly confines of Detroit's cozy dome against a struggling Giants defense in Week 12, setting up an ideal bounce-back opportunity.
Jaxson Dart (concussion) remains out for the Giants this week, leaving Jameis Winston to make his second consecutive start. Winston has one career start in Detroit, which came back in 2019 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The veteran completed 28 of 42 pass attempts for 458 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception in a 38-17 win. That is the second-most passing yards in a game of his career.

The Lions still profile as one of the best teams in the league despite their 6-4 record. In fact, per Aaron Schatz's DVOA metric, they are the fourth-best 6-4 team since 1978. Detroit has also won 13 games in a row coming off a loss, and it feels like they will light up the scoreboard on Sunday.
