Kyle's top Week 10 NFL survivor pool selections, his 3 best NFL Survivor/Eliminator picks for 2025. Target and avoid these NFL teams in Week 10 Survivor contests.
The week-to-week unpredictability of the NFL was put on display in Weeks 8 and 9 of the 2025 NFL season. Week 8 featured one of the most one-sided weeks in NFL history, while Week 9 saw both conference leaders go down.
We were right to warn against the Colts in survivor pools last week, but the Packers led us right into their trap with an inexcusable home loss to the Panthers. Looking forward to Week 10, there are some fun matchups with the playoff picture beginning to take shape.
So, let's dive in and look at the best and worst survivor pool selections for Week 10.

Buffalo Bills (-9.5) at Miami Dolphins
The Bills have owned the Dolphins for quite some time now. Buffalo has taken them down in seven straight matchups and owns a 16-2 record in their last 18 dates since 2017. They have had a few close calls recently, however.
These two teams faced off in Week 3 on Thursday Night Football, with the Bills winning 31-21. It was a tie ball game with just over 10 minutes left in the game when Miami got a stop defensively, but then immediately blew it with a roughing the kicker penalty on fourth down, a massive mistake they could not afford on the road against a Super Bowl caliber team. And in their second matchup last season, the Bills won at the last second on a 61-yard field goal by Tyler Bass. So the margins have been small in their two most recent matchups.

The last time Miami beat Buffalo was in Week 3 of the 2022 season, which featured one of the strangest box scores you'll see. The Bills out-gained the Dolphins 497 to 212 and ran 90 total plays to the Dolphins' 39, but lost the game. It may take a similar type of miracle for this version of the Dolphins to pull off the upset.
Indianapolis Colts (-6.5) vs. Atlanta Falcons (Germany)
The Colts dropped their second game of the season in Week 9 at Pittsburgh as they turned it over a whopping six times. Now, they travel to Berlin to face a Falcons team that nearly beat the Patriots on the road, but a John Parker Romo missed extra point derailed any hope.
Atlanta has been pretty unpredictable week to week this season. They own an inexplicable 30-0 loss at Carolina in Week 3, but also took down the Bills in convincing fashion on Monday night just three weeks later.

Historically, international games have been owned by favorites, owning a 39-14-1 record since 2007. Indianapolis is clearly the better-coached team under head coach Shane Steichen, and it feels like an ideal get-right spot against an Atlanta defense that hasn't maintained the defensive dominance that they showed earlier in the year.
Detroit Lions (-8.5) at Washington Commanders
Things have turned ugly for Washington very quickly, with three straight losses of 21 or more points. The last team to hit that mark was the 2020 Jacksonville Jaguars, who finished with a 1-15 record. And to rub salt in the wound, second-year quarterback Jayden Daniels (elbow) will miss an indefinite amount of time.
The Lions are coming off a home loss of their own as 9.5-point favorites against the J.J. McCarthy-led Vikings. But the Lions have been inevitable recently when coming off a loss, winning 12 in a row. They're seeking some revenge after Washington ruined their Super Bowl hopes in their historic 2024 season, with a 45-31 win on the road in the divisional round.
#Lions HC Dan Campbell says he's not surprised by the recent negative fan and media reaction to last week's loss although Detroit is 5-3. "It's good to be a little bit of an afterthought again," he said. "It's nice." pic.twitter.com/lPBdJ2QXt5

The Lions were still outstanding on a down-to-down basis in that game, posting an absurd 58% offensive success rate, but the five turnovers were the difference. Detroit is now all of a sudden tied with Chicago for second in the NFC North with a 5-3 record, and can't afford to drop a game against a Washington team that looks like a bottom-five to 10 team at the moment.
