Tyler Lockett's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 14 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Tyler Lockett for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team PPR Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett doesn't have a ton of upside right now because of the emergence of rookie wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and the strong play of D.K. Metcalf, but he remains a high-floor WR4 play. He might not win you your fantasy league most weeks, but he provides some solid production.
Take last week's loss to Dallas, for example. Smith-Njigba had a team-high seven receptions and Metcalf had 134 yards and three touchdowns, but Lockett still made himself felt as he caught five of his eight targets for 47 yards.
Lockett had at least five receptions in three of the past four games, with at least 47 receiving yards in all three of those games. He's a reliable source of points in full-PPR leagues and should be started in 12-team PPR leagues because quarterback Geno Smith has done a good job of getting him involved. He's had under five targets just once all season, which came all the way back in Week 1 against the Rams.
The one concern here is that Lockett didn't do a ton in his last meeting with the 49ers, catching just three passes for 30 yards, but in a 12-team PPR league, that's a risk worth taking.
