BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 49% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: It had been a while since we had seen Tyler Allgeier have such a good game as the one he put up a couple of weeks ago in Week 15 against the Saints. He finished that matchup with a season-high 22.6 PPR points but he hadn't topped 7.4 in the four games before that one. Thus, the doubts.
Allgeier had another great outing this past Saturday at Baltimore confirming he's here to stay ROS and letting every dubious fantasy GM out there that he is a solid pickup for a couple of games left in the Falcons' schedule.
After rushing for 139 yards and a score on 17 carries in Week 15, Atlanta handed the rock to Allgeier 18 times last Saturday and he turned those carries into 74 yards while adding 43 receiving yards on just 4 receptions (5 targets), falling just three yards short of his season-high mark on that front.
Cordarrelle Patterson rushed the ball just 8 times on Saturday for a measly 17 yards (2.1 YPC) and caught one pass for 14 yards. Patterson has not been the no. 1 rusher since returning from injury while Allgeier can be considered to have that role in his possession now.
With the no-QB Cardinals on the schedule next week the Falcons should get the lead and run a bunch, so make sure to grab and start Allgeier in almost every format out there.
