Trevor Lawrence's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 14 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Trevor Lawrence for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Sit in 12-Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: QB2
ANALYSIS: Trevor Lawrence has been on fire in recent weeks, posting at least 25.1 fantasy points in each of his last three contests. The former No. 1 overall pick has posted QB1, QB5, and QB6 finishes during that span.
However, he suffered a high-ankle sprain during the Monday Night Football loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, putting his status for Sunday in doubt. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Lawrence is expected to give it a go against the Cleveland Browns. If Lawrence was 100% healthy, this would be a concerning matchup. Given his mobility concerns, it's a terrifying matchup.
Cleveland has surrendered the second-fewest fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this year, and only one signal-caller (Matthew Stafford) scored more than 16 fantasy points against its defense without a rushing touchdown. To make matters worse for Lawrence, Christian Kirk (core) will not play after being placed on Injured Reserve.
Some fantasy managers might be forced to start Lawrence in this spot, but if you have pivot options, this would be the week to sit him. He has virtually no fantasy floor in Week 14. If he doesn't suit up, there's no reason to consider backup quarterback C.J. Beathard.
