BALLER MOVE: Start as a flex in 12+ team leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR4
ANALYSIS: Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs missed a lot of time in his rookie season, but when he did play, he looked good, leading some fantasy analysts to project he would be the team's number-one WR in 2023.
It is safe to say now that Christian Watson's splits Ian Haritz was pointing out are "probably something."
Doubs didn't disappoint. In Week 1, he caught two touchdown passes. In Week 3, he was targeted 12 times and caught five passes for 73 yards and a touchdown. Then in Week 4, he was targeted 13 times, and he caught nine passes for 95 yards.
Christian Watson, who missed the first three weeks of the season with a hamstring injury, returned in Week 4, and Doubs did see a small decrease in production.
He only caught one pass for four yards in Week 5, and he hasn't gained more than 36 yards in a game since Week 4. But Doubs has scored three touchdowns in the past four games. He finished as a WR3 in two of those games and a low-end WR1 last week.
In Week 11, the Packers face the Los Angeles Chargers, one of the worst pass defenses in the league. The Chargers are allowing 7.5 yards per pass attempt, the second-most in the league, and 291.2 passing yards per game, the single most.
Opposing fantasy WRs are scoring the fifth-most points per game against the Chargers. They have given up 10 touchdowns to WRs, also the fifth-most in the league, so Romeo Doubs has a good chance to find the end zone again.
Doubs is the WR40 in our Week 11 PPR WR rankings. That means he is projected to finish as a WR4 in 12-team leagues. He's a potential start in a flex spot depending on the quality of your other WRs and RBs.
