PrizePicks Over/Under DFS Props Contests
PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game.
The second game is known as Single Stat. For the MLB, Single Stat consists of pitcher strikeout props in which you determine if the pitcher in question will go over or under their projected strikeout total.
You can mix and match players from different types of games in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Let's see what the board offers today!

Reese Olson less than 4.5 strikeouts
Olson has failed to eclipse this total in three of his previous four starts while allowing four earned runs in three of his previous four starts. The matchup tonight against the Cubs is a tough one as they are posting just a 19.7% K rate vs. right-handers over the previous three weeks, which ranks fifth-best in baseball. They are also posting a superb wRC+ mark of 128 over this span and pairing that with a walk rate of 10%, both of which should give Olson fits in this one.
Justin Verlander less than 6.0 strikeouts
Verlander has eclipsed this total just twice since June 8th, which spans 13 starts. The matchup tonight is quite difficult against the Red Sox as they are posting just a 19.2% K rate vs. right-handers over the previous three weeks, which ranks third-best in baseball over that span. Boston is also posting a respectable 105 wRC+ mark over this same span and pairing it with a decent walk rate of 7.6%.
Graham Ashcraft more than 5.0 strikeouts
Ashcraft will be facing the Angels tonight, who are posting a K rate of 26.6% vs. right-handers over the previous three weeks, which ranks sixth-worst in baseball over that span. They are also posting a walk rate of just 5.1% and a wRC+ mark of just 66, which should certainly help Ashcraft in this one. He has struck out at least five batters in three of his previous five starts and has posted a better K/9 mark on the road than at home this season.
Zac Gallen more than 5.5 strikeouts
Gallen will be at home against the Rangers tonight, who are posting the 11th-highest K rate vs. right-handers with a rate of 24%. He has been other-worldly at home this season as he has posted a 1.82 ERA and 10.4 K/9 mark. He has also eclipsed this total in four of his previous five starts.
