Yandy Diaz Goes On Paternity List
1 year agoThe Tampa Bay Rays placed infielder Yandy Diaz on the paternity list on Thursday and will recall infielder Jonathan Aranda from the minors in a corresponding move. Diaz, who played in his first career All-Star game on Tuesday, won't be available to fantasy managers for the start of the second half of the season on Friday against the Kansas City Royals, but there's a possibility he'll be back as early as Saturday or Sunday. The 31-year-old Cuban is having the best year of his career in his fifth year in Tampa, hitting .323 (96-for-297) with 13 home runs, 18 doubles, 43 RBI, a league-leading .408 on-base percentage and 58 runs scored in 341 plate appearances and 78 games. Whenever he's back in Tampa's lineup, get him back in all starting fantasy lineups.
