Yandy Diaz Goes On Paternity List
10 months agoThe Tampa Bay Rays placed infielder Yandy Diaz on the paternity list on Thursday and will recall infielder Jonathan Aranda from the minors in a corresponding move. Diaz, who played in his first career All-Star game on Tuesday, won't be available to fantasy managers for the start of the second half of the season on Friday against the Kansas City Royals, but there's a possibility he'll be back as early as Saturday or Sunday. The 31-year-old Cuban is having the best year of his career in his fifth year in Tampa, hitting .323 (96-for-297) with 13 home runs, 18 doubles, 43 RBI, a league-leading .408 on-base percentage and 58 runs scored in 341 plate appearances and 78 games. Whenever he's back in Tampa's lineup, get him back in all starting fantasy lineups.
