San Francisco Giants first baseman/designated hitter Wilmer Flores (hamstring) is returning to the lineup Sunday against Washington Nationals left-hander MacKenzie Gore. Flores will DH and bat cleanup in his first start since Aug. 1, while Dominic Smith will take a seat. Flores missed a week with tightness in his left hamstring, but he pinch-hit in Saturday's 4-2 loss and produced a sacrifice fly. The 34-year-old has hit .249/.318/.380 with 12 homers, 60 RBI, and 36 runs scored in 381 plate appearances.--Connor Byrne
