William Byron Has Value At Martinsville
5 years agoHendrick Motorsports driver William Byron has had a slow start to his third Cup Series season, collecting just two top-10 finishes in 10 races so far. But Byron showed speed in the last short track race on the schedule, finishing eighth at Bristol, and has some solid DFS upside for Wednesday's Blue Emu 500 at Martinsville Speedway. Byron starts 15th in this race, and last Fall drove to a second-place finish at this racetrack. His place differential upside makes him one of the most interesting of the mid-priced drivers on Wednesday's DFS slate. Add in that Hendrick cars have been fast lately and that much of Byron's struggles have been luck related and you get an enticing fantasy play out of the 24 car.
