Will Smith Fills Box Score in Win Over Guardians
Will Smith continued his sizzling start to the season in a 7-2 win over the Cleveland Guardians on Monday. Smith finished the evening 2-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks, and an additional run scored. His line is now up to a magnificent .333/.456/.511 with five homers and 28 RBI across 171 plate appearances. While Smith has been adept at drawing walks and limiting strikeouts during his highly productive career, the 30-year-old has been a free pass machine this season. Smith's 18.1% BB rate is easily his best since he debuted in 2019, and he now has more walks (31) than strikeouts (30). Smith occasionally sits in favor of young backup Dalton Rushing, but he's an obvious play for fantasy managers whenever he's in the Dodgers' lineup.
