Vincent Hinostroza Suffers Serious Injury Friday
Minnesota Wild center Vincent Hinostroza (undisclosed) suffered a serious injury in Friday's win over the Pittsburgh Penguins, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports. The 31-year-old left the contest in the second period following a hit from Penguins defenseman Ryan Greaves. Hinostroza has played in all 22 Wild games this season, contributing two goals and three assists as a bottom-six player. Unfortunately, it now appears Hinostroza will miss some time. Minnesota's frontline has also recently lost Ryan Hartman (lower body) and Vladimir Tarasenko (lower body), leading to Danila Yurov being promoted to the top line.
