Victor Robles Day-To-Day With Knee Contusion
2 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Victor Robles (knee) was diagnosed with a left knee contusion after having to be carted off the field in Wednesday's Grapefruit League game, according to manager Dave Martinez. Robles bruised his kneecap when he ran into a pipe behind the outfield wall. He's considered day-to-day for now and is expected to be able to return to the spring lineup by the end of the week. It sounds as though the 25-year-old dodged a bullet and should be ready for Opening Day. Robles is still very young and is excellent on defense for the Nats, but nothing he's done on offense to this point in his career points to a sudden turnaround in 2023.
