New York Mets right-hander Tylor Megill (elbow) looked good in his minor-league rehab start with Double-A Binghamton on Sunday, throwing 3 1/3 scoreless innings while allowing one hit, walking none and striking out nine. Megill threw 39 of his 55 pitches for strikes in what was his second rehab outing. The 30-year-old is returning from a right-elbow strain that has kept him out since June 14, so he will likely require at least one more start in the minors before the Mets activate him from the injured list. It's unclear what Megill's role will be in New York when he returns, and it will likely depend on how well rookie Nolan McLean is pitching in the starting rotation. Megill made 14 starts before his elbow injury this year, going 5-5 with a career-best 3.95 ERA (3.41 FIP) and 1.36 WHIP with 89 strikeouts and 33 walks in 68 1/3 innings pitched.--Keith Hernandez
