Tylor Megill Fans Five In Rehab Assignment
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Tylor Megill (biceps) threw 53 pitches in a rehab assignment for Double-A Binghamton on Sunday. He struck out five batters over 3 2/3 innings and had his fastball up to 97 mph during the outing. Megill shouldn't need much more time in the minors before rejoining the Mets. The 26-year-old has been out since mid-May with right biceps tendinitis. He has a 4-2 record, 4.42 ERA, and 1.13 WHIP across seven starts (34 2/3 innings) this season.
