St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O'Neill is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Atlanta Braves. The Cardinals will give O'Neill the night off against tough right-hander Spencer Strider, even after he went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in the win over Atlanta on Tuesday. Lars Nootbaar will play left, Tommy Edman will man center field and Jordan Walker will play right on Wednesday. The 28-year-old O'Neill has had a disappointing 2023 and only has 211 at-bats because of injuries. However, he's started the month of September strong by going 5-for-12 with two home runs, a double, five RBI, a stolen base and three runs scored three games.
