Cincinnati Reds right-hander Tyler Mahle turned in an excellent outing against the Minnesota Twins on Sunday. Mahle pitched 6 1/3 innings of one-run ball, striking out seven and walking just two. This registers as Mahle's second consecutive strong outing as he's allowed just four runs over his last two starts while posting 18 strikeouts. On the season, Mahle has a 2-3 record, 4.32 ERA, and 38 strikeouts in 33 1/3 innings of work. His ERA is not great, but his 3.52 SIERA and 3.47 xFIP both indicate he's pitching much better than his standard stats show. Mahle is a priority waiver add if he's still out there in any leagues.--Matt T - RotoBaller
