Tua Tagovailoa Remains Confident After Loss To Chiefs
11 months agoMiami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa isn't worried about a contract extension and remains confident in himself after a 26-7 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the first round of the playoffs as he heads into the final year of his rookie deal. "I don't feel any pressure at all. I have full trust in myself," Tagovailoa said. "I have full trust in what I'm capable of doing for our organization, but outside of that we're focusing on tonight and what happened, we're going to simmer on this and see what we can do to get better from it." After dealing with two concussions in 2022, he started all 17 games for Miami in 2023 and led the NFL in passing yards (4,624) while setting career-highs in passing yards, touchdowns (29) and completion percentage (69.3), so despite the disappointing finish, the 25-year-old should be a strong QB1 option once the elite names come off the board in fantasy drafts this fall.
